Chelsea in for Cuadrado

Juan Cuadrado

Chelsea are lining up one major signing during the transfer window with highly-rated Colombia midfielder Juan Cuadrado reportedly the target.

It is believed that manager Jose Mourinho would be happy to offload current fringe players Mohamed Salah and André Schürrle in order to fund a move for the Fiorentina star. Salah has been linked with a loan move away from Stamford Bridge with QPR, Hull City, Besiktas and Roma all reportedly interested in the Egypt international.

Chelsea are also open to the idea of 24-year-old André Schürrle leaving the club with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg leading the race to sign the World Cup winner for a reported £23 million.

Manchester United have also been linked with Cuadrado after he produced four assists during an impressive World Cup in Brazil.

Juan Cuadrado’s club after the January window:

Fiorentina – 4/5

Chelsea – 5/4 (from 7/4)

Man Utd – 9/2
