Chelsea to splash the cash

Chelsea are now as short as 1/5 to sign Juan Cuadrado with the winger out to 7/2 to stay at Fiorentina.

José Mourinho is believed to be a long-term admirer of Cuadrado and it is expected that Chelsea will trigger his €35 million release clause before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

The 26-year-old Colombia international was reportedly a summer target of Manchester United after an impressive World Cup with Fiorentina now set to make a €30 million profit on Chelsea-bound Juan Cuadrado, who joined for just €5 million from Udinese in 2013.

Chelsea are expected to offload wingers André Schürrle and Mohamed Salah in order to fund a move for Cuadrado.
