Nottingham Forest have reportedly lined up former Chelsea defender Dan Petrescu to replace Stuart Pearce as manager.
Despite a successful start to the season, Forest have won just two games in their last 19 and were recently dumped out of the FA Cup by Rochdale.
Petrescu is believed to be extremely keen on managing in England after nearly landing the Crystal Palace job in 2013. He retired from playing in 2003 and has since gone on to enjoy success as a manager, winning domestic titles in both Russia and Romania.
Nottingham Forest face Sheffield Wednesday and local rivals Derby over the next two weeks, which could make or break the season for both the team and Stuart Pearce himself.
