Ings set for Premier League stay

Burnley striker Danny Ings is set to leave the club this summer when his contract expires with a host of Premier League clubs linked with the former Bournemouth striker.

Manchester United are the latest club to be heavily linked to Ings with Falcao set to return to Monaco after failing to impress during his loan spell. Liverpool are believed to have been very close to signing the 22-year-old striker towards the end of the January transfer window with Brendan Rodgers a fan of Ings’ style of play.

A potential outsider to sign Ings could be newly-promoted Bournemouth however a return to the south coast is more likely to come by joining boyhood club Southampton, who could be set to lose Jay Rodriguez this summer.
