Jackett expecting bids

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett is bracing himself for offers for star player Bakary Sako. The Mali international’s contract expires in the summer with several Premier League teams lining up a cut-price January move for the 26-year-old winger.

Leicester City, Crystal Palace, West Brom and Aston Villa are all interested in Sako despite the fact that he is heading off to the African Cup of Nations shortly.

Wolves signed Sako for a reported £2.2 million from Saint-Étienne in 2012 and are hoping to keep him until at least the end of the season as they continue their promotion push.
