Bayern Munich for the first time in 11 years will end the season without a league title after being beaten by a wonderful Bayer Leverkusen side led by Xabi Alonso. Frankfurt has injury concerns to the likes of Sasa Kalajdzic, Sebastian Rode and Medhi Loune. Winger Ansgar Knauff is a suspension risk for this game.

Surprisingly, the form between the two teams could suggest that Frankfurt have every chance of gaining a result at the Allianz. In the last five games between the two teams, both teams have beaten each other twice and drawn the remaining game.

Frankfurt’s away form is something of concern heading into this game, despite their positive record against Bayern Munich. Frankfurt have won only one of their last five league games, drawing once and losing the remaining three games away from home.

The away side have lost their last two away games against Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund, but they did record their previous away win against Heidenheim.

Frankfurt recorded a 2-1 win over their opponents thanks to an own goal from Benedikt Gimber and Niels Nkounkou getting on the scoresheet. Frankfurt made the most of their inferior possession were clinical with four fewer shots than Heidenheim.

The away side have averaged 1.13 points away from home this season. Frankfurt have won four games away from, drawn five and lost six in total. Frankfurt have scored 1.33 goals per game as well as conceding on average 1.73 goals per game.

Omar Marmoush has been the key player for Frankfurt this season. The Egyptian has 17 goal contributions this season from 25 games this season. Marmoush has averaged 0.51 goals per 90 minutes.
