QPR set to spend

Rhodes (1)

QPR manager Harry Redknapp is lining up a January bid for Blackburn Rovers frontman Jordan Rhodes.

The prolific striker was on the verge of making a £12 million summer move to Hull City before Rovers pulled out of the deal at the last minute. However, due to the form of Rudy Gestede, who ended 2014 as the top goalscorer in all English leagues with 25, the Lancashire club are considering letting Rhodes leave.

QPR are trying to find a partner for in-form Charlie Austin and Harry Redknapp has been a long-term admirer of Rhodes, who has scored 61 goals in 111 games for Blackburn since joining for £8 million from Huddersfield Town.
