Stuart Gray favourite for Rotherham job

BetVictor make former Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray their 4/1 favourite to be named next manager of Rotherham United after the Club parted company with Steve Evans earlier today.

Evans is subsequently 6/1 from 33 to be the next manager of Doncaster Rovers.

Spokesperson Charlie McCann: “There are a number of high-profile managers currently out of work but some of them might not be attracted to the New York Stadium given the Club have this morning parted company with Steve Evans after back-to-back wins in the Championship against sides in the top half of the division. Former Owls’ boss Stuart Gray is our early market leader at 4/1 but there are any number of potential candidates and it looks an open looking market. In the wake of this morning’s news from South Yorkshire we have subsequently slashed Evans from 33s to 6/1 to be the next Doncaster Rovers manager.”

Next Millers’ boss; prices from BetVictor:

Stuart Gray – 4/1

John Sheridan – 6/1

Neil Redfearn – 6/1

Brian McDermott – 6/1

Sam Allardyce – 8/1

Paul Lambert – 8/1

Billy Davies – 8/1

Eric Black – 8/1
