Troy Deeney in demand

Troy Deeney

Several Premier League and Championship clubs are lining up big-money moves for Watford striker Troy Deeney.

The transfer window opened with Derby County being linked with the 26-year-old as they look to bolster their attacking options. Derby boss Steve McClaren has already replaced the summer loan signing of Leon Best with Darren Bent this month and he is reportedly looking to add one more attacker to his promotion push.

A second club reportedly interested in Troy Deeney is Swansea City as the £28 million transfer of Wilfried Bony to Manchester City looks to be reaching a conclusion. West Brom boss Tony Pulis is also reportedly a fan of the Watford frontman as he continues his search for a striker after also being linked to Blackburn Rovers target-man Rudy Gestede.

Troy Deeney’s club after the January window:

Swansea City – 4/1

West Brom – 4/1

Derby – 6/1
