Can you name the players that have played for both Chelsea and Liverpool in the Premier League Era?

The biggest Premier League game of the weekend sees Liverpool take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Both sides are still looking to secure a Champions League place for next season and anything but a victory here for Chelsea and their hopes of a top 4 finish will virtually be over. This fixture has produced some infamous Premier League moments such as Steven Gerrard’s slip in 2014 and Luis Suarez’ bite on Branislav Ivanovic in 2013.  The matchup between two of the Leagues biggest sides has always been one to look forward to on the Premier League calendar and just 11 players have played for both sides since the Premier Leagues inception in 1992. We want to know how many of those 11 players you can name?

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side come in to this one on a massive high. On Wednesday they confirmed their place in the Champions League final after a 7-6 aggregate victory over Roma. The Reds still have some work to do in the League before their trip to Kiev later on this month where they’ll meet current European Champions Real Madrid. After back to back Premier League draws with the Leagues bottom two, West Brom and Stoke City, Liverpool’s place in the top 4 isn’t as certain as it once was. Although highly unlikely, defeat here to Chelsea and a slip up on the final day to Brighton could easily see Jurgen Klopp’s side finish below both Chelsea and Spurs and slip into 5th place by the end of the campaign. With the Champions League Semi-Finals out of the way Klopp will refocus on the League and will want to get the job done here with a result at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Antonio Conte’ Chelsea have given themselves an outside chance of making the top four. Winning all of their final three games would take them to 75 points but without a major slip up from either Liverpool or Spurs that still won’t be enough for Champions League football at Stamford Bridge next season. Despite the likelihood of Europa League football next season, Chelsea still have a chance of winning a trophy when they take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final later this month and Conte will be hoping that victory at Wembley will be enough to keep his job for next season. Chelsea haven’t beaten Liverpool in the League since 2014 and with Liverpool on such a high it could be another difficult day for Conte’s side on Sunday.

With the sides meeting for the final time this season on Sunday we thought we’d take a look at the players that have played for both of these sides ahead of this weekends clash. With 11 answers to get we have given you just 5 minutes to get as many as you possibly can. Give it a go and then send us your scores to – @Oddschanger – Good Luck!
