Recently Alex Dyer was sacked as the manager of Kilmarnock, having lead the oldest club in Scotland to just two wins in their last 11 matches in all competitions, with the Rugby Park club ninth in the Scottish Premiership. This has seen Killie drop to just five points clear of bottom-club Hamilton Academical having played a game more.

Steven Robinson: 6/4
Former Oldham Athletic and Motherwell manager Steven Robinson is the favourite to get the job at Rugby Park.
The Northern Irishman is best known for his time at Motherwell, having taken them to the Scottish League Cup and Scottish Cup Finals in the 2017/18 season, which was the first time that the Fir Park club had done this since the 1950-51 season.
Last season the former Bournemouth player guided the Well to a third-place finish which was the club's best finish in the league since the 2013/14 campaign.
This move would be a good opportunity for Robinson to prove once again that he is one of the best managers in Scotland and to revitalise a squad that is badly underachieving at Rugby Park.
Gary Holt: 5/2
The second favourite to take over from Dyer is someone who is already a legend at Killie in Gary Holt.
As a former player of the club, Holt enjoyed a hugely successful time at Rugby Park between 1995-2001. He made 138 league appearances in that time, scoring 12 goals from midfield and helping them win the Scottish Cup in 1997.
He loved his time with the club so much that he even has a Kilmarnock tattoo, so could now be the time for him to return to the oldest professional club in Scottish football?
Holt was most recently in charge of fellow Premiership side Livingston, where he successfully helped them avoid relegation with a ninth-placed finish despite only being promoted via the play-offs in 2017/18. Following this success Holt then guided Livingston to their second-highest ever league finish in 2019/20, as the Lions finished in fifth place, seeing him being nominated for Scottish Football Writers Manager of the Year.
Tommy Wright: 5/2
Tommy Wright is also on this list of managers that have been linked to the Kilmarnock job.
Wright comes with a wealth of experience having managed fellow Scottish Premiership side, St Johnstone, for seven years between 2013 and 2020 where he managed to win the Scottish Cup Final in the 2013/14 season, following a 2-0 win against Dundee United at Celtic Park. This is the only major honour in St Johnstone's history.
The Northern Irishman did a good job at McDiarmid Park and lead them to three successive fourth-place finishes on a very tight budget between 2014 and 2017 and would be an excellent fit for a club like Kilmarnock that are looking for stability, something that they have lacked since Steve Clarke's departure to take the Scotland job in May 2019.
Stuart McCall: 4/1
Former Bradford City manager Stuart McCall has also been touted as a potential candidate for the vacant managerial role at Rugby Park.
McCall was sacked by Bradford last December in what was his third spell at Valley Parade having won just seven of his 24 games in charge.
The former Rangers midfielder's best spell in management actually came in Scotland with Motherwell, where he lead the Well to the Champions League for the first time in their history following a third-place finish in the 2011/12 season. McCall also oversaw two consecutive second-place finishes in 2012/13 and 2013/14 which saw the Fir Park club enter the Europa League qualifying rounds on both occasions.
This could be a good opportunity for McCall to revitalise his managerial career in a league that he knows well and has previously had success in.
The Bantams club legend is priced at 4/1 to make the move back up to Scotland with Kilmarnock.
