Paris Saint-Germain's search for their first-ever Champions League trophy goes on.
The Parisians reached the final of the competition for the first time in their history this season, with many expecting them to finally add the illustrious piece of silverware to their cabinet. Sunday night was supposed to complete the narrative of Nasser Al-Khelaifi's project with the club - after investing over a billion pounds into the side, the CL trophy has always been seen as the necessary landmark to establish PSG amongst Europe's elite.
However, they fell short to Bayern Munich. The French team rued early missed chances, with Kingsley Coman punishing them with 30 minutes to play, grabbing the only goal of the game.
Although Thomas Tuchel has gone further than any other PSG manager in the tournament, his position has been called into question. Reaching the CL final should by no means result in the sack, but we all know how impatient this board can be.
