Over 2.5 Goal Acca Euro 2020 Edition

Over 2.5 Goal Acca Euro 2020 Edition

We are in and around the halfway mark of the EURO 2020 qualifying campaign, with there being plenty of fixtures taking place tonight.

It’s the business end of the competition now, with each group table taking shape and fans becoming closer to knowing whether their nation will be competing in next summer’s tournament. Some countries are in better shape than others, making each game from now absolutely crucial.

Looking ahead to today’s fixtures, we’ve picked out an 17/2 over 2.5 goal acca with BetVictor. The international break often serves up some high-scoring games, and we’re hoping for some more tonight.

Latvia vs Poland – 8/15

In most qualifying groups, there is often a team that severely struggles and sits bottom of the table. In Group G, that side has been Latvia.

Slaviša Stojanović’s men are pointless after 6 games, conceding 21 goals along the way. Particularly too, they have been greatly outshone by the more quality sides in their group, with Austria and Slovenia putting a combined total of 11 goals past them. Inevitably, Poland are big 1/8 favourites tonight, making the match price of 8/15 to see over 2.5 goals a just one.

Poland are currently top of the group and have averaged 3 goals a game across their 3 home fixtures. Krzysztof Piątek and Robert Lewandowski are the two men who have been grabbing the goals for the Poles, and both men will fancy their chances of getting their names on the score-sheet tonight.

The latter, in particular, has started the season on fire, registering 15 times in just 10 club appearances. Lewandowski is arguably the hottest forward in Europe right now and the Bayern Munich striker is as short as 4/11 to score tonight. If Poland have their shooting boots on, they will surely create enough chances to see this selection through.

Austria vs Israel – 8/13

Our second selection tonight is another fixture from Group G, which sees 3rd placed Austria welcome 5th placed Israel to the Ernst Happel Stadium. Austria are certainly a team in form, having won 3 of their last 4 qualifying fixtures.

Marko Arnautovic is often sees as the nation’s star man, and the forward has 4 goals in his last 4 Austria games. Such form from the striker has seen his country storm up the rankings in the group, with them scoring 11 goals along the way. They were unlucky to not leave Poland last month with all 3 points, and they should take such momentum into tonight.

Israel are winless in 3, conceding 8 goals in this short time period. Given their leaky defence and Austria’s attacking firepower, the odds of 8/13 for over 2.5 goals looks to be a generous price.  The return fixture actually saw Israel run out 4-2 winners, and we’re hoping for a similar amount of goals tonight.

Netherlands vs Northern Ireland – 3/5

Despite being 3rd in the table, Netherlands are big 2/11 favourites to win tonight. Ronald Koeman’s side have seemingly turned a corner in the last couple of months, winning their last 2 fixtures. Their 4-2 victory away at Germany certainly had eyebrows raised, before they comfortably dispatched of Estonia 4-0.

Going forward, the Flying Dutchmen are certainly flying, with their clinical wide-men being too hot to handle. In fact, the Netherlands have registered 2 goals in 7 of their last 8 games, justifying tonight’s relatively short price of 3/5 to see over 2.5 goals.

Northern Ireland’s form can’t be ignored however, as they have won 4 of their last 5 qualifying games. They lost 2-0 last time out to Germany though, and they have been given a huge price of 14/1 to get the win tonight. Northern Ireland have scored 3 times across their 2 away qualifiers though, so they do have a chance in getting something tonight.

Regardless of the result, we fancy BetVictor‘s price of 3/5 to see over 2.5 goals in this fixtures. The Netherlands are absolutely firing in-front of goal and Michael O’Neil’s side also have the capability of grabbing 1 too.

Macedonia vs Slovenia – 7/5

3 games. 3 wins. 10 goals. Slovenia are currently on the rise in Group G.

Their 2-0 victory over the table toppers in Poland certainly caught the attention of many, before their explosive encounter with Israel which saw them run out 3-2 winners. The over 2.5 goal market has come in twice in Slovenia’s last 3 games, as they are most definitely a team that likes to push forward.

A win tonight sets them up nicely to gain qualification from the group and we expect them to breeze past Macedonia. Their opponents have only beaten bottom of the table Latvia in qualifying and have lost their other 2 games at home. Austria put 4 past them in June and Slovenia have the potential to replicate such a result.

The likes of Andraz Sporar and Benjamin Verbič have been in clinical form this season, making tonight’s price at 7/5 a lucrative one. This selection is the one with the biggest value on our list, as it does mainly lie on Slovenia’s shoulders. Their recent form has been strong though and have scored 10 across their last 3 games.
