BetVictor Goalscoring Odds for Tonight

Looking ahead to tonight’s EURO 2020 qualifying games, there are some huge favourites playing.

England are looking to extend their 100% win record in Group A, with Gareth Southgate’s men being priced up at 1/7 to beat Kosovo at St Mary’s Stadium. The Three Lions were in clinical from last Saturday, overcoming Bulgaria with significant ease 4-0.

Another team sitting comfortably on top of their group is France, with the 2018 World Cup winners facing up against Andorra at home. The travelling opponents are yet to even score a goal in Group H yet, let alone pick up a single point. At 90/1 to win the game, Andorra are the biggest underdogs to get a win tonight.

Portugal are another side who are being heavily favoured with BetVictor, as Cristiano Ronaldo and co touch down in Lithuania with odds of 1/16 to prevail.

Given such odds to win, many punters may be struggling to find some value tonight. Therefore, we’ve taken a look into each three games and picked out some goalscorers that hold the potential for a healthy return tonight.

Bernardo Silva to score – EVENs

Bernardo Silva has had quite the last 12 months.

From becoming an integral member of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side, to winning a domestic treble, all the way to winning the Nations League with his home country, Silva has quickly become one of Europe’s star stellar names. Such a point was emphasised in Portugal’s last game, with the tricky winger getting on the score-sheet with a tidy finish inside the penalty box.

The Navigators ran out 4-2 winners, in a fixture that highlighted just how ruthless Portugal can be going forward. Alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Goncalo Guedes, Fernando Santos’ front three are granted a license to interchange and attack relentlessly. Silva flourishes in such a system, with his price at EVENs to score with BetVictor looking like a decent bet tonight.

Against a side that have conceded 10 goals in 4 games, the floodgates could potentially open up. Unsurprisingly, there isn’t much value in Ronaldo to score anytime, so we’ve opted for Silva to find the score-sheet at this promising price.

Jadon Sancho to score – 6/4

Like Silva, another name that has made significant progress over the last 12 months has been Jadon Sancho. The Englishman abroad has been making all the headlines across Europe, through his incredible performances with Borussia Dortmund.

Gareth Southgate has stated that Sancho will be starting tonight over Marcus Rashford, so it is a big opportunity for the winger to impress. When looking at England’s anytime goalscorer odds, there is limited value to be found. Harry Kane is as short as 4/9, with Raheem Sterling also being 10/11. Even when digging a little deeper, the likes of Mason Mount and James Maddison are still only 2/1, with neither player being guaranteed a start either.

At 6/4 with BetVictor though, Sancho may be a popular selection with punters, particularly given his lively start to the season. He has 2 Bundesliga goals in just 3 games, taking his career league tally with Dortmund to 15. These are certainly impressive stats for a wide player, with Sancho liking to drift inside and get into scoring positions.

Kosovo are expecting to be under the cosh tonight and the Englishman is used to playing against a deep block. England will likely have the majority of the ball and Sancho should be right up to the task of breaking the deadlock with his home nation.

Wissam Ben Yedder to score 2 or more – 15/8

Similarly to the Portugal and England games, France are heavily expected to win comfortably tonight. Andorra sit at the bottom of Group H, without a single point or goal to their name. They’ve conceded 11 goals in their opening 5 games, with tonight being a big chance for the French frontline to add some goals to their tally.

Didier Deschamps has, however, stated that changes will be made, with reports on social media stating that Wissam Ben Yedder could be set to start. The striker is certainly recognised as a clinical forward, registering 102 goals in 249 league games across his senior career. Such form makes his price at 15/8 to score 2+ goals with BetVictor an interesting prospect, particularly against such lesser opposition.

Ben Yedder is a fringe player for the World Cup champions, but tonight could be a chance for him to make a breakthrough at international level. He’s already got off the mark for Monaco this season and with world-class creative players around him, a few chances may fall his way against Andorra.

This is perhaps the biggest outside shout of the listed selections, but France are expected to win comfortably tonight, and should Ben Yedder start, their main striker bagging a brace isn’t exactly the most far-fetched thought.
