Manchester United to sign 16-year-old for £10 million

United set to sign 16 year old French forward in a deal worth up to £10 million

Manchester United’s problems have been heavily documented so far this season, but instead of the centre back manager Jose Mourinho so desperately desires, United look set to sign a 16-year-old as their first signing of the winter window.

United look set to have beaten PSG, Juventus and Valencia to the signing of French forward Noam Emeran from Amiens ahead of the January transfer window.

Emeran has been impressing for the Amiens youth side and has two caps for the French U16 international side but can still qualify to represent Belgium instead.

The news was broken by RMC this morning who say that United have agreed a £2 million fee for the youngster, which could rise to £10 million after bonuses. It is expected to be confirmed by the club once the transfer window opens in January.

We’re not sure how happy Mourinho will be with this signing but hopefully for his sake the club will leave enough in the transfer kitty for United to finally get themselves a top half back in January.
