Another day, another Karius howler…

Liverpool loanee Lloris Karius made another blunder for Besiktas in last night’s Europa League 2-0 defeat to Swedish outfit Malmo.

The German international, who was shipped out of Anfield in the summer thanks to the arrival of Alisson from Roma, struggled with a series of high-profile mistakes throughout his time in England.

Karius had a shocker in last season’s Champions League final against Real Madrid, making two mistakes to gift Los Blancos a 3-1 victory in Kiev and has since endured a nervy start to his career with Turkish giants Besiktas, the club where he will be spending the next two years on loan at.

The 25-year-old has only managed one clean sheet in his opening six appearances this term, conceding six goals in both the Süper Lig and the Europa League combined.

Last night, Besiktas travelled to Malmo for the second group game of their Europa League campaign. As the game meandered towards the hour mark, a deflected cross deceived Karius at his front post; he tried to tip it over the crossbar, he failed miserably. The rest, as they say, is a complete and utter goalkeeping nightmare. Take a look below:
