WATCH: Jesse Lingard and Bernardo Silva are sent on the Chicken Shop date ahead of this weekends Manchester derby

Ahead of this weekend’s Manchester derby, Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard and Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva were sent on the Chicken Shop date with Amelia Dimoldenberg.

Copa 90, released the video ahead of the big game this weekend, with both players struggling to cope with Amelia’s personality.

Amelia, who runs her own channel with regular Chicken Shop dates usually with rappers and grime artists intentionally makes the interview with the players as awkward as possible, which shows a completely different side to the Premier League stars.

The video revealed a number of things you didn’t know about the Premier League stars, such as Silva’s love for the band Queen (or ‘Quince’ as he calls them) and Amelia seemingly doubting United’s chances of a win straight to Lingard’s face.

Silva, who has three League goals for City so far this season has become a regular fixture in Pep Guardiola’s side after the injury to star man Kevin De Bruyne. The Portuguese international was rested for City’s 6-0 demolition of Shakhtar Donetsk in the week and is expected to feature in the derby this weekend as City look to extend their lead at the top of the pile.

Lingard, who returned to United’s starting line-up in Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League, will be hoping that United can continue their recent upturn in form with a win in the derby. United are unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches as they look to make their way back up the Premier League table.

United currently sit down in 7th place after a disappointing start to their campaign, 9 points off of neighbours City, who currently occupy top spot. United come into this one as massive underdogs, but will be looking to cause an upset at the Etihad on Sunday.
