WATCH: PSG players get pranked by imposter with fake new rules guidance

The stars were told that they’d have to raise their hands if they wanted to speak to the referee next season

Six PSG players – including Dani Alves, Lassana Diara and Adrien Rabiot fell victim to a practical joke by a man pretending to a delegate from Ligue 1 yesterday.

In a four-and-a-half minute video published on the club’s YouTube channel, the man explains a selection of incredibly bizarre new rules that must be followed on the pitch for the forthcoming 2019/20 campaign.

A ban on swearing (even to yourself), spitting on the pitch, lengthy goal celebrations and ‘crazy’ haircuts made up the mystery man’s new rules guidance, which had the superstars absolutely perplexed.

“To make the game more dynamic, you’re not allowed to celebrate a goal for more than 10 seconds,” said the imposter.

This ‘rule’ clearly disgruntled former Barcelona and Juventus full-back Dani Alves, who said that you cannot rush a celebration as it is “the best moment in football.”

The prank finally became unravelled when defender Thilo Kehrer, whom PSG signed from Schalke in the summer for €37 million, spotted one of the hidden cameras used to film their reactions to the fake new rules.
