WATCH: Watford keeper Pontus Dahlberg shows off horrific head injury after training ground incident

The 19-year-old needed this like a hole in the head..

Young Hornets shot-stopper Pontus Dahlberg suffered a severe gash on his forehead this weekend, after he took a knee to the head in training.

The Swedish international, who made his debut for the national side earlier this year, apparently wanted to carry on playing straight after sustaining this trauma, but was instead attended to by the club’s medical department.

Dahlberg then took a short video, showing off the full extent of his new war wound, which fellow goalkeeper Ben Foster then shared on his Twitter page.

The Watford No.1, who joined the club from West Brom in the summer, posted the gruesome clip alongside the caption:

‘GRAPHIC CONTENT ALERT!! So this happened to our young GK in training on Sunday morning!!! Took a knee to the forehead and genuinely wanted to just get up and walk it off’.

Take a look at the video below, preferably not just before lunch.
