10 Premier League Players to Watch This Transfer Window

Alexis Sanchez Paul Pogba

Ben Chilwell

England left-back Ben Chilwell has caught the eye of in recent seasons, having impressed with Leicester City during their fabulous rise under Brendan Rogers. The 23-year-old has risen to prominence and stepped into the breach following England's struggle to find someone consistent down the left flank.

The favourites to sign Chilwell are Chelsea at 8/11, who already have added Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to their ranks, though there will no doubt be a hefty price tag for the Foxes left-back.

Other potential destinations are Manchester United, who have been linked with a left-back for many, many years, however, it seems nailed on he will join Chelsea to fill the shoes of the risky Marcos Alonso.

Leroy Sane

For this one, it seems a matter of when, rather than if.

Whenever Leroy Sane's name has been mentioned this season, it comes with the link to Bayern Munich. The German played for the first time this season against Burnley just after the restart, as an ACL injury in the Community Shield destroyed any chance of making it in the squad for some time. In truth, if it wasn't for the suspension, he wouldn't have played for City at all this year.

Odds are a low 1/7 for Sane to move back to Germany to join the Bundesliga champions and it really would be a shock if Pep Guardiola manages to keep him. If a potential move to the Bayern does fall through, waiting in the wings could be Real Madrid, who may look to replace Gareth Bale, as the Welshman's injuries and dislike from Zinedine Zidane continue to mount up.

Paul Pogba

Pogba has been rumoured to leave Old Trafford for near enough his entire United career, having publicly fallen out with the previous manager Jose Mourinho, whilst his commitment has been questioned this campaign with a season-long injury allowing time to ponder such things.

The overwhelming favourites for the Frenchman’s signature are Real Madrid, who according to a lot of the transfer speculation last season, were very close to agreeing on deal for the midfielder. Whether a move materialises remains to be seen with clubs' budgets no doubt slightly hit due to the current climate, especially given the tension between the two club because of previous transfer fiascos; none more heated than that of David De Gea back in 2016.

Juventus and PSG are also options for the World Cup winner, and overall it is probably only those three clubs who could facilitate both a transfer fee and the astronomical wages.

Ryan Fraser

Ryan Fraser's career at Bournemouth is at its end, despite the fact the Scotland international is still under contract with the Cherries until the end of the season.

Eddie Howe has explained that Fraser has rejected a short-term deal that would have kept him at the club for the remainder of the campaign and now, Arsenal, Everton, Leicester and Spurs are waiting in the wings for the forward.

The Foxes do lead the way with an 11/2 price and considering he will be on a free, there won't be a shortage of offers that come his way and a battle to sign him will be quite the story.

Similar to Sane; it's a matter of when, rather than if.

Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez's career at the top looks to be over. Since signing for United back in 2018, the Chilean international has failed to get anywhere near his world class standards set at Arsenal and Barcelona.

Now, after an injury-hit season at Inter Milan and with United's forward line looking significantly stronger without him, Sanchez will surely be sold by the club as his ridiculous wages simply can't be justified anymore.

The ex-Barcelona man is still 31 and he will surely be desired by certain Europa League clubs or other outfits in the Premier League. West Ham United remain the leaders at 10/3 from an English club, while Inter are the favourites to secure his signature with a price of 11/4.

Regardless, it's highly unlikely he will be at Old Trafford for next season, and if he is, it won't be on a consistent basis within the teamsheet as the likes of Mason Greenwood continue to improve.

Jack Grealish

If Pogba does leave United, it will leave a gaping hole in their midfield which will need to be plugged, and Aston Villa skipper Grealish could well be that man to fill the void.

Grealish was close to a move to Spurs last season, but the Red Devils appear to be in the driving seat for the Englishman ahead of this coming window. The playmaker won’t come cheaply, of course, with the reported estimation from his Villa set to be above £60m.

Spurs are now the second favourites to move for Grealish after their move last season fell through for him, though it would still need some investment from the club to sign their man. Chelsea are another possible destination, and as Frank Lampard gets his first full summer window with the Blues.

Ultimately, with Villa staring at relegation, Grealish's days with his boyhood club are no doubt numbered, should he desire European football and a career with England.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

It came as a surprise when Arsenal announced the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in 2018, with many news outlets tipping him to join the likes of Liverpool or Barcelona.

Nevertheless, Aubameyang has established himself as one of the Premier League's top strikers and he has unquestionably been Arsenal's best player over the past few seasons. The forward currently shares the Golden Boot trophy with Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah after bagging 20 goals last season and he is still at the top of his game with 17 thus far.

Now, at 31 and with Arsenal struggling to even get into the Europa League for next season, a man of Aubameyang's ability will surely have one eye on the exit.

The Spanish giants lead the way with the bookies for his signature, although, United are mentioned within the odds as well with a 6/1 price to snatch him from north London. Regardless, it's tough to see how Mikel Arteta convinces such an elite player to stay in the midst of Arsenal's mid-table season.

ICYMI: Read all the odds for Aubemyang's next club and the latest reports on where he could go next.

Mesut Ozil

Sticking with Arsenal and it does also seem as if Mesut Ozil is nearing the end of his career in north London.

Both Unai Emery and now Arteta have been reluctant to include the German in their starting XI on a consistent basis and now it seems as if enough is enough for Ozil with Arsenal.

There can be no questioning his ability - despite his lack of effort - and someone of his elite standard will surely be able to still move to a club that plays in the upper echelons of European football.

Similar to his Gunners teammate Aubameyang, Ozil will find himself questioning his worth at the club over the summer and surely he will take a look at offers where trophies and European football is more likely.

As of now, no club leads the way for his signature, but a move back to Germany or Spain probably wouldn't be such a bad shout to reignite his career ahead of his 32nd birthday in October.

Willian and Pedro

For this one, we have gone with two Chelsea players based on how the two are yet to sign short-team deals that keep them at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season. Both wingers are under contracts until August, but once this comes around, neither player can be included within the squad even if there are games left to play.

If the two do commit to short-term deals, it's near impossible to see them step out in the next campaign, regardless. With this said, offers won't be short as the two have had stellar careers thus far and a move across Europe is very likely, considering their trophy cabinets.

London rivals Spurs could be the most likely club to sign Willian, having played under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, while Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also mentioned.

As for Pedro, the Spaniard may end up moving back to his homeland and a move to clubs battling for Champions League qualification, such as Sevilla or Valencia, look his most likely destination. In truth, his days at a top club and returning to his old side Barcelona seems dead and buried now.

Declan Rice

Declan Rice has been one of English football's most wanted names over the past two seasons with clubs towards the top end constantly linked with his signature.

The West Ham star has established himself within the ranks of the England squad and at just 21 years old, Rice is seen as the future of central midfield in the Premier League.

Despite a tough season with the Hammers so far, the Englishman's pricetag remains high and he will still be wanted by those battling within the European spots.

Chelsea still leads the way to sign Rice at 6/4 in what will be a return to his boyhood club. However, United and Spurs are still mentioned in the debate and the Red Devils will surely chase the West Ham man down to the wire, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to rebuild United with strong, British youth.

Although, a return to the Blues seems nailed on.

ICYMI: Read all the odds for Rice's next club and the latest reports on where he could go next.
