Aaron Wan-Bissaka Transfer News & Odds

Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer, as the 24-year-old has made just six Premier League appearances since the turn of the year, with Manchester United rumoured to be looking for a new right-back that fits the mould of Erik ten Hag’s system.

Crystal Palace Odds: 3/1

Crystal Palace are the firm favourites to sign Wan-Bissaka having sold him to Manchester United for £50m in the summer of 2019.

Patrick Vieira’s men have reportedly shown interest according to The Athletic, as they are looking for a long term replacement for Joel Ward and Nathaniel Clyne who are 32 and 31 years of age.

Wan-Bissaka would undoubtedly offer an upgrade on the Selhurst Park club's current options and the Eagles would likely sign him for a significantly reduced fee to what which they sold him for, in a similar fashion to the transfer of Wilfried Zaha.

Everton Odds: 9/1

Everton have also been included on this list of clubs that are interested in signing Wan-Bissaka from United.

The Toffees have had a habit of late of signing fringe players from clubs at the top end of the table, having taken the likes of Donny van de Beek on loan in January, as well as completing the signing of Dele Alli.

Wan-Bissaka would undoubtedly be a welcome addition to Everton’s squad as Seamus Coleman’s age looks to have caught up with him a little at 33-years-old, whilst Jonjoe Kenny is out of favour, seeing the likes of Ben Godfrey often fill in at right-back as cover.

With the 24-year-old out of favour at United, the Toffees could potentially pull off an astute transfer deal here, hence why they are priced at 9/1 to bring Wan-Bissaka to Goodison Park.

Leeds United Odds: 12/1

Leeds United have also reportedly shown interest in signing their bitter rivals right-back.

This transfer may not be as unfeasible as it sounds on paper though, following the Red Devil’s interest in Kalvin Phillips, as well as the fact that they allowed Daniel James to join the Elland Road club for a £30m fee last summer, someone who Wan-Bissaka had a good relationship with down the right-wing in the Welshman’s time at Old Trafford.

Wan-Bissaka would be seen as a defensive upgrade, as he is more suited to the Premier League than Luke Ayling, whilst bolstering this position in the squad with more depth.

Leeds are priced at 12/1 to sign Wan-Bissaka from their fierce rivals.

Newcastle United Odds: 14/1

Newcastle United are the final team on this list of clubs to have shown interest in Wan-Bissaka as they look to strengthen their squad for the 2022/23 season under Eddie Howe.

Kieran Trippier’s season was curtailed early when he suffered a broken foot, meaning that there is the possibility that the 31-year-old could struggle to play week in week out when he returns.

On top of this, Wan-Bissaka would offer good cover for the England international, as well as a homegrown talent if the Magpies manage to qualify for Europe in the near future, with Trippier potentially being a good mentor for the former Palace man.

Wan-Bissaka is priced at 14/1 to trade Old Trafford for St James’ Park this summer.
