Aleksandar Mitrovic Transfer Odds

Mitrovic Fulham

Mitrovic Transfer Odds: Roma

Aleksandar Mitrovic could soon depart Fulham after three seasons and one loan campaign with them back in 2017/18. This comes after the Cottagers fell back into the Championship again, meaning the Serbia's all-time leading goalscorer could soon depart them, as at 26, he certainly still has plenty to offer.

As of now, Roma are the favourites to sign Mitrovic this summer. The team from the Italian capital will be looking for a decent backup and potential long-term replacement for Edin Dzeko as the Bosnian reaches the twilight of his career in this new Jose Mourinho era at Roma.

However, it is unknown whether the new manager Mourinho is a fan of the Serbian. Regardless, this would be a good signing for Roma as they do lack quality depth behind Dzeko with the only currently backup striker being Borja Mayoral, and it could cost a lot less than other players.

Mitrovic Transfer Odds: West Ham

West Ham are another team interested in Mitrovic. The Hammers are looking for a quality backup for Michail Antonio who has 10 goals and five assists this season but has a history of being injury prone.

Now, with Europa League football next season also on the horizon, the Londoners will need greater depth to compete on all fronts and it probably won't stop at attempting to bring Jesse Lingard on board.

Signing Mitrovic will add the necessary backup to West Ham as they venture into Europe, while the Serbian can also be a long-term replacement for Antonio, as he has five years on the Englishman. He will also prove to be a cheaper alternative to some of West Ham’s other targets so they will not face the same embarrassment as they did with Sebastien Haller.

Either way, with proven experience on the continent and in England, it would be a terrific signing for the Hammers.

Mitrovic Transfer Rumours: Besiktas

The new Turkish Champions are also reportedly interested in signing the Serbian, and this would add a different route upfront for Besiktas, as they currently have three strikers in Vincent Aboubakar, Cyle Larin and former Everton striker Cenk Tosun.

Besiktas play with a singular striker, so it would require Mitrovic to refind his form if he is to compete with Aboubakar and Larin who both scored 16 and 19 goals each. A move to the Turkish capital may help Mitrovic revive his career as he will be amongst the goals which help him regain his form, but at the same time, at 26, he all but kisses goodbye to a star-studded career in Europe's top five leagues.

Mitrovic Transfer Odds: Newcastle United

A return to Tyneside is also a possibility to Mitrovic as they look for backup behind Callum Wilson. Wilson had scored 12 goals before injury halted his season. This meant that Newcastle had to rely on record signing Joelinton and Dwight Gayle for goals, so the acquisition of Mitrovic will add a quality goal scorer to the team.

However, Mitrovic’s previous spell in the Northeast were poor. In his three seasons at the club the Serbian was only able to score 14 goals in 65 games. A team like Newcastle possibly fighting relegation next season they will not want to spend a large sum of money on a player that may possibly struggle to score.

Mitrovic Next Club Odds: Anderlecht

Mitrovic next club odds then move onto Belgium where the Serbian first made a name for himself.

A return to Belgium is another possibility for Mitrovic, and Anderlecht have also reportedly shown an interest in him. This would be a decent move for Mitrovic on the goals front, as he would place himself in familiar surroundings and can be a leader in a young Anderlecht squad under Vincent Kompany, but it is far from a good career move.

Anderlecht currently rely on Lukas Nmecha as their main goal scorer, but he is on loan from Manchester City, so the team from Brussels will need a replacement for the German. Mitrovic’s previous campaigns in Belgium saw him score 36 goals in 69 appearances, which ultimately saw him join Newcastle United soonafter.
