The downfall of Alexis Sanchez has been as brutal as it gets in recent times, going from one of the world's very best and drawing in some of the Premier League's best numbers during his period at Arsenal, to now out of favour with Inter Milan.
Thus far, Sanchez has played in 50% of Inter's Serie A games this season and despite playing in 30 of the league fixtures en route to winning the title last campaign, the Chile international still only has 12 goals in 80 appearances for the Italian outfit.
Now at 33 by the time we enter 2022, Sanchez looks set to depart the club soon and Sevilla are leading the way for his signature. Sevilla are a club who have constantly been linked with names like the ex-Arsenal man's due to their lack of financial power, but the pull of competing well in the Copa del Rey and Europa League as well as a current march for a Champions League spot in La Liga.
Sanchez has a decent record in La Liga and it's where he made a name for himself at Barcelona, although, it wasn't that spectacular as he did, in reality, take a step down from the Spanish giants to a top four side in Arsenal.
In total, Sanchez netted 47 times for Barcelona in 141 games, almost half as many as he got with Arsenal in the same amount of games. What is very impressive, however, is his final season at the Camp Nou where he managed to net 19 La Liga goals in 34 appearances, finishing as Barcelona's second top scorer that season behind, of course, Lionel Messi. This meant he outscored Neymar and Pedro too, and it's clear to see why Sevilla would want him, and Sanchez is currently 5/1 to rejoin La Liga but with the Seville outfit.
