Harry Kane - One of the greatest this past decade

For years now Harry Kane has been a prolific striker for both England and Tottenham, making him one of Europe’s most elite strikers, being rivalled by only the likes of Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

At only 26 years old, Kane has bagged 136 Premier League goals, earning him a place amongst the most accomplished goalscorers in England's top-flight history, and with so many years of his career left, he will undoubtedly cement himself amongst the history books.

However, with the recent Instagram live interview with Sky Sports’ Jamie Redknapp shockingly hinting at a possible move away from Spurs, his time with the club may be at its end. Of course, there will be a host of elite clubs seeking to sign the forward, with arguably his best years yet to come.

Pundits and fans for some time have claim Kane must move on from his boyhood club, as his goal record must be matched with some sort of trophy haul. Adding to this speculation now, Kane claimed he wanted to “win trophies now rather than later” in the interview with Redknapp, suggesting the Spurs star could look for a move away to a club.

Here, we look at the Paddy Power markets for the odds of Harry Kane’s next potential move.

Harry Kane Real Madrid Odds

Since the exit of Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid have struggled to find a talisman to bring them to the heights the Madrid fans so highly demand.

Kane, although not quite on the level of their all-time top scorer, could be the answer to Madrid’s problems, as the signings of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic have failed to impress the Bernabeu. At the same time, Karim Benzema is 32 years old now, and Los Blancos will eventually need some sort of like for like replacement. Now, Madrid are clear favourites and Paddy Power has price the odds at 9/2.

After his interview with Jamie Redknapp over the weekend hinting at the idea that he would like to win more trophies, many reports have suggested Madrid would be the move to satisfy his desire for silverware. The Spanish giants have won four UEFA Champions Leagues since Kane made his Spurs debut and are always in a title race with fellow giants Barcelona.

It is not uncommon for Spurs superstars to leave north London for the Spanish capital, either, with Gareth Bale and Luka Modric both completing transfers to Madrid from Spurs and becoming astonishingly successful as a result.

Modric has even managed to snatch the Ballon d’Or during his time with the club – an accolade Kane would surely be capable of procuring, should he decide to swap Tottenham for Madrid.

The Spanish giants also have had an affinity for English talent in the past with a long list of England’s best stepping out in all white, including the likes of David Beckham, Michael Owen and Steve McManaman.

Reports suggest Madrid have been interested in Kane for a number of years now, as they look for a long term replacement for Benzema. Allegedly Zinedine Zidane's side have debated a record bid of £200 million for the England star, making this move a serious possibility.

Harry Kane Manchester United Odds and Manchester City Odds

Should Harry Kane choose to stay in England and continue his aspirations of becoming one of the best strikers the Premier League has seen, a move to either Manchester club could be tempting.

Manchester United have been involved in many transfer rumours over recent months – Kane being one player at the forefront of these rumours, making the odds 11/2 for United to be Kane’s next club.

The Red Devils will also be linked with the superstars of the world, however, their plummet down the league the past decade makes these transfers tough to see happening. Plus, Kane's love for Spurs might blur his vision slightly when considering a move to a rival club. Although, United certainly have the cash and the stature, and will do what they can to get the striker on board.

However, the Spurs man's astronomical price tag may put United and Ed Woodward off of a move for the 26-year-old, as the recent £68 million transfer of Bruno Fernandes and the reported £110 million price tag for their target, Jadon Sancho, could put United off breaking the bank even more.

Like Spurs, the Manchester outfit have lacked silverware over recent years, and with Kane's clear desire for trophies, perhaps United's rivals Manchester City would be his preferred move.

City have won nine major trophies since 2015, making them an ideal transfer for any striker seeking out more silverware. Pep Guardiola’s side have been by far the most successful club in England the past decade making a move to the Etihad incredibly tough to turn down.

Plus, with Sergio Aguero turning 32 in the summer and also desiring a move back to Argentina, City will surely want a go at this transfer. On the other hand, the Citizens are facing a two-year ban from European football which may shorten their ability to sign star names.

Kane's desire for trophies, however, might be too strong, making the odds 14/1 with Paddy Power a very good price.

Harry Kane Barcelona Odds and Bayern Munich Odds

In the past, legendary British strikers have thrived at Barcelona, with players like Mark Hughes and Gary Lineker both making the successful switch from English clubs to the Nou Camp.

That being said, a switch to the Catalan club with the likes of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Dembele makes this one tough to see happening. Indeed, Luis Suarez is certainly approaching the end of his glamourous goalscoring years at 33 years old, which does, however, put Kane amongst the transfer targets.

Although, Barcelona's almighty spend over in recent years throws doubt into the works, with Financial Fair Play certainly going to be just around the corner with a transfer as such.

As for Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski has been toe to toe with Kane for the claim of Europe's best number nine for the last few years. The Pole will be 32 in the summer, but is showing no signs of slowing down.

Munich have also never had the reputation of being big spenders in the transfer markets and therefore the heavy price tag Kane boasts, in combination with Bayern already having a world class striker, makes it highly unlikely fans will be seeing Kane at the Allianz Arena next season.

This considered, Paddy Power have given the likelihood of Kane making a move to Barcelona 12/1 and Bayern Munich 16/1.
