After missing training repeatedly in Italy at Brescia Calcio, it has been reported Mario Balotelli will be leaving the club as his three-year contract comes to an end making him available on a free transfer. Multiple teams are eager to sign him, with a lot of interest coming from the States whose MLS teams can’t wait to reel him in.
As rumours have been going around for years regarding Balotelli and MLS, there could actually be a chance this year of him joining one of the teams. The question remains then as to whom should or could take him on and who would be a wise move for the player. One of the teams that can’t be overlooked for trying to sign the Italian international is Inter Miami CF.
David Beckham’s Inter Miami project was just about to get off the ground and as games will resume next month for them, will be playing their first few matches. Although, they are lacking one thing to make them stand out: a brilliant striker, which is where the Brescia striker could come in. Though he would be risky to take on, it would be a good risk for Beckham’s team both on and off the pitch making Balotelli the face of Inter Miami.
The Italian is 5/1 to join Miami and 3/1 to join any MLS side.
