Paul Pogba Odds

Paul Pogba is one of football’s biggest enigmas, both on and off the field. He joined Premier League giants Manchester United from Juventus in 2016, for a then-record transfer fee of £89 million and has barely been out of the headlines ever since.

His arrival at Old Trafford had expectations of greatness, with fans believing this would be the start of a revival to becoming one of Europe’s best again, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jose Mourinho joined within the same summer.

However, Pogba’s time at United has been rocky to say the least. Many would argue that the Frenchman has failed to live up to expectations the Old Trafford faithful had for him, despite scoring 31 goals and assisting 31 times for the club.

For a while now, the relationship between the World Cup winner and United has been questionable, with reports of Pogba seeking a move away growing stronger and stronger as we approach the summer.

United have been active in the transfer market this season, perhaps with the idea of preparing for life after the former Juventus man departs. Now, with the likes of Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish all on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's wish list, United could look to offload players to make way for these new stars.

Here, we take a look at the odds for Pogba's next club with Paddy Power.

Paul Pogba Real Madrid Odds

Real Madrid have been labelled as the favourites to sign Pogba for some time, with current odds of 7/4. However, what seemingly prevented this going through within the last year was the expensive summer Los Blancos had by signing Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

Now, it seems as if Pogba is linked to Madrid on almost a weekly basis, and with growing interest from the club and increasing reports that Pogba is seeking a move, this could be the window it all happens.

The deal for the midfielder's signature will no doubt be close to £100m, considering United signed Pogba for £89m and how his contract still has another year left. Madrid would perhaps be willing to offer this amount, considering the fact they have spent so much on stars such as Hazard and Gareth Bale over recent years.

Since leaving Juventus in 2016, Pogba has also seen much less silverware than he used to in Turin, whilst at the same time, Madrid have claimed 11 trophies as he was sat debating his future in Manchester.

Also, Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly a massive fan of the French captain and, of course, the French connection between the two will make things much smoother.

All things considered, the transfer of Pogba to Madrid is very likely to happen this summer, making his 7/4 odds to join Madrid a viable option for any punter keeping their eye on the situation.

Paul Pogba Juventus Odds

Amid reports Pogba is nearing a transfer away from United, Juventus have been rated the second-favourites to sign their former star with odds of 4/1. During his time at Juventus, Pogba accumulated a total of 34 goals and 40 assists in 178 games and helping the Old Lady win eight major trophies.

According to reports from Sky Italia, Juventus have also prioritised the transfer of Pogba and as the United midfielder is seemingly unsettled in Manchester, this move could very likely happen.

However, Man United vice-chairman Ed Woodward would more than likely prefer to take a cash transfer for Pogba in order to fund the potential transfers of Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho or the much-needed striker Harry Kane.

It is for this reason Juventus are second-favourites, although, at 4/1, the odds are very tempting with the move still being a possibility.

Paul Pogba PSG Odds

Paris Saint-Germain are no strangers to spending extraordinary transfer fees to bring world class talent to the French capital and Pogba could be next, with odds of 5/1. The Parc des Princes are accustomed to seeing the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe dominate French football and money clearly is not much of a worry for PSG, either.

The one piece of silverware the Parisians have not got anywhere near, however, is the Champions League. The potential signing of Pogba could solve this issue, with the midfielder playing a crucial part to United’s Europa League-winning campaign, not to mention his experience in the 2016/17 Champions League run with Juventus, finishing runners up to Real Madrid.

Interestingly, rumours have suggested the Frenchman and PSG agreed on personal terms already in the last summer transfer window, with Pogba set to earn a staggering £429,000 a week. The move, however, fell through because of Neymar’s return to Barcelona being unsuccessful.

This window could be different, now, with a move back home always a temptation for any player. Plus, as Neymar and Mbappe continue to help grow PSG's stature, Pogba may well think a Champions League title is around the corner for the club.

Paul Pogba Barcelona Odds

Paddy Power have rated the odds of Pogba joining Barcelona before September 2020 at 12/1. Like United, Barcelona have lost their shine in recent years, failing to impress in the Champions League – a trophy highly valued by the Camp Nou faithful and the board.

Some reports have claimed that Barcelona are looking at new talent to help bring them back to their European dominance, with the unsettled Pogba perhaps amongst the star names being looked at.

In truth, the Spanish giants have failed to replace their famous midfield of years gone by, with the likes of Athur and Arturo Vidal not quite satisfying Barcelona fans just yet. Now, with Ivan Rakitic close to the exit door and Frenkie De Jong needing a long term partner, a move for Pogba makes complete sense.

Barcelona President, Josep Maria Bartomeu, claimed the 27-year-old was close to a move to the Camp Nou in 2016, before United’s £90 million bid proved to be too much for the Spanish giants at the time.

With reports of Pogba seeking a move away from United and potentially the Premier League, Barcelona could revive their interest in him, although it is unlikely the move will happen due to the high levels of interest from rivals Madrid and other clubs.
