Wilfred Zaha Next Club Odds

Wilfried Zaha

Hodgson admits Zaha is leaving

Crystal Palace manager has admitted that Wilfred Zaha is "so set on leaving" the club a year after moves to both Arsenal and Everton failed to materialise.

"It's obviously affected him because his form in the last few weeks has really been quite poor considering what he is capable of doing," Hodgson told the BBC.

"It's a dilemma for the club and a dilemma for him if he is so set on leaving.

"If he feels he just does not want to be with us any more, that would be sad," the Palace boss added.

Zaha will surely be on the move this transfer window and with there still over a month until the new season, there is plenty of time for the Ivory Coast international to force something. We take a look at where Zaha could end up next.

Zaha Everton odds

Just a season after a proposed move to Everton fell through, the club are now once again the favourites to seal the winger's signature at 4/1.

The Toffees reportedly submitted a deal sheet to the Premier League last summer, which allowed them an extra two hours in the window after the deadline to conclude the transfer came. However, nothing would come of it and now with Carlo Ancelotti now in charge, it seems this deal could well go through.

What should give Everton fans hope this time is how certain Zaha is on leaving and how the club have over a month to get this over the line, rather than a fight to get this done before the window shuts.

Furthermore, Everton's hierarchy have not been shy in spending drastic amounts in years gone by, with over £200m being splashed out in the last three seasons alone.

Finally, it does seem as if we may see Zaha on Merseyside, but this deal is far from secured right now, with other top-flight sides joining the mix.

Zaha spurs odds

On the base of things, Zaha to Spurs last year seemed like a positive purchase. The winger had just scored 10 Premier League goals, which was only bettered by wingers from the 'Big Six'. The Lilywhites were also on the verge of losing Christian Eriksen and no doubt needed to reinforce, with their options becoming weaker in the attacking sense.

Jose Mourinho has since signed Steven Bergwijn and the Dutchman has been a decent addition to the Spurs squad meaning now, it is hard to justify a first team spot for Zaha at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

There is also the fact Palace are reportedly seeking upwards of £50m for their star man and this is something they have only done once with record signing Tanguy Ndombele.

Ultimately, the Eagles' asking price, plus the fact Mourinho may not start him every game, all point towards this deal not going through - Zaha is still 5/1 to joining Spurs, however.

Zaha Arsenal odds

Just like last summer, Arsenal are reportedly moving in for Palace's main man, despite his poor season this campaign. Last time around, only Alexandre Lacazette and top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bagged more league goals than Zaha's 10. This season, however, his four goals all season long is the same tally as both Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka and four less than Nicolas Pepe.

It does seem that the time has past with this deal, because of the winger's form, the arrival of Pepe and the rise of Saka. Plus, the expensive asking price from the Eagles will no doubt steer Mikel Arteta's attention the other way, as the club needs the very best players to come in to rocket them back into the Champions League.

Reports do suggest Arsenal are still interested in Zaha and at 5/1, perhaps it's worth a punt.

Zaha Newcastle odds

Zaha is priced at 7/1 to join Newcastle, but it does seem as if this one is a little too out of reach, unless the club gets their takeover done in time.

The Saudi-backed consortium at one point seemed done and dusted for the Magpies, but reports have stated the takeover has slowed down, as the owners fail to conclude who would have ultimate responsibility.

Simply put, if Mike Ashley is out of the club when the window is open, Zaha could be the first mega signing. If not, it's incredibly doubtful the ex-Manchester United man will make the move to the North East, as Ashley continues to work on his tight budget.

Zaha Leicester odds

Leicester City narrowly missed out on the Champions League this season and they will no doubt need to invest heavily to try and get back amongst the ranks of the elite for next campaign.

What puts this one in serious doubt is, once again, the price of which Palace Zaha at, which is something the Foxes will unlikely want to meet given the rise of Harvey Barnes.

At the same time, however, Europa League football could have bumped up Leicester's transfer budget and bringing in Zaha for around £50m might not be the worst idea, with games coming thick and fast with that competition thrown into the mix.

At 10/1, it remains an unlikely transfer, but don't overlook it just yet.

Zaha Dortmund odds

There is a very high chance that Jadon Sancho could be making a move to the Premier League with United, as Borussia Dortmund continue their selling mentality.

The sale of Sancho will not just free up the right wing spot, but also add a budget of around £100m, if the reported figure of such deal goes through. However, it is unlikely that Dortmund will spend the majority of this on Zaha, based solely on the fact he is far from the level of the current BVB number seven.

Zaha's four Premier League goals this campaign is 13 less than Sancho's record in the Bundesliga this season, whilst the Englishman has also bagged 16 assists compared to Zaha's three.

In truth, the Palace man isn't good enough for Dortmund, especially if he is to replace Sancho. Simply put, at 12/1 to sign for German giants, don't expect anything to materialise here.
