Macclesfield Town vs Bury

This Saturday Mark Blower’s men will take on 10th place Bury as they look to close the three-point gap that separates them from 23rd. The Silkmen have struggled to adjust to the standard of League Two football following their promotion from the National League and after 16 games they find themselves at rock bottom with just seven points to their names. Blower has secured just one win up to this point which came against Carlisle, who they beat 2-1. Bury, on the other hand, have been enjoying a more successful season and head into matchday 17 in 10th place with 23 points, another three points on Saturday could see them jump up into 8th. The Shakers do head into this fixture as heavy underdogs and can be backed at 9/2 with SkyBet, while Bury sits at 4/7 with Bet365.

Recommended Bet: Bury to win at 4/7 Bet365 – BET HERE

Northampton Town vs Crewe Alexandra

This fixture brings you two sides who are battling out in the wrong half of the table and are separated by a single point. Northampton sit just behind Crewe in 18th, and three points for either side could see them move up to 12th. Keith Curle will be feeling confident that his side can get the better of their next opponents on Saturday as they come into this fixture off the back of two consecutive wins against Macclesfield and Oldham. The Cobblers fired five past Macclesfield, with Matt Cooks bagging a hat-trick in the first half. Crewe sit just above Northampton and David Artell will want to stay above them after Saturday, but he will need to see improvement after they lost 3-0 to Mansfield Town. Artell will look to Jordan Bowery as his main threat going forward with the striker scoring five in 16 appearances. The home side go into this fixture as favourites to take the three points and is priced at 10/11 with Betway, whereas Crewe can be backed at 16/5 with SkyBet.

Recommended Bet: Both teams to score at 5/6 SkyBet – BET HERE

Lincoln City vs Forest Green Rovers

Lincoln City will welcome Forest Green Rovers to their Sincil Bank Stadium this Saturday as they look to hold on to their position at the top of League Two. The Imps sit just two points clear of MK Dons, so Danny Cowley will be desperate to secure another three points and hope MK Dons drop points to open up a gap at the top. It will be no easy game for Lincoln though as Forest Green arrive in some good form. Mark Cooper’s men are unbeaten in their last three games and have won their last two matches, thanks to victories against Exeter City and Tranmere Rovers. Reece Brown and Liam Sheppard have both bagged goals in their last two matches and have five goals between them this season. The league leaders come in as strong favourites for this fixture but can still be backed at a price of 4/5 with Betway, Forest Green are the underdogs and sit at 4/1 with Bet365.

Recommended Bet: Lincoln City to win at 4/5 Betway – BET HERE

Tranmere Rovers vs Exeter City

This League Two encounter brings two sides together who have both looked impressive this year and although they are separated by four places in the table, there are only two points between them. Tranmere sit in seventh place and three points could send them up into 3rd place, following an emphatic 5-1 win over Crawley Town. Rovers’ and League Two top goal scorer James Norwoo, added another two goals to his tally against Crawley, putting him at 10 for the season. This is a great opportunity for the Grecians to open up a well-needed gap between them and their opponents, as the top seven in the league remain within touching distance of each other. Matt Taylor’s men don’t arrive at Penton Park in the best run of form, with them going three games without a win, which includes two draws and a loss last time out against Forest Green Rovers. The hosts do come in as favourites and you can back them at SkyBet for 5/4 odds and Exeter to win is priced at 23/10.

Recommended Bet: Tranmere to win and BTTS at 10/3 SkyBet – BET HERE

Cheltenham Town vs Mansfield Town

This weekend Cheltenham Town will welcome Mansfield Town to Whaddon Road, in what looks set to be a one-sided affair. The Robins haven’t had much to cheer about this season as they sit down in 23rd with just 10 points to their name after 15 games, but they do have a game in hand on most teams and another three points could see them move up into 19th. Mansfield have seen much more success this season, winning five games and more impressively have lost just once this season, proving they are a hard team to beat. After a poor start to the league Cheltenham can be backed at odds of 14/5 with BetVictor and Mansfield come in as favourites with odds of evens with Bet365.

Recommended Bet: Mansfield to win 2-0 at 8/1 SkyBet – BET HERE

Port Vale vs Notts County

A good opportunity for Port Vale to secure their seventh win of the season approaches this weekend as they take on Notts County who sit down in 22nd. With a tightly congested table, a win for Port Vale could take them up five places depending on results across the league and they head into this fixture in good form, with them going unbeaten in their last three games, winning on two of those occasions. Notts County don’t share the same impressive form as their opponents after losing their last three games on the bounce and have conceded eight goals along the way. Even though these sides are separated by eight places in the table you can back Port Vale at 13/8 with SkyBet, while Notts County 17/10 with Bet365.

Recommended Bet: Port Vale to win at 13/8 SkyBet – BET HERE

Cambridge United vs Grimsby Town

This League Two fixture pitches two teams against each other that have been battling down at the wrong end of the table. Cambridge United sit down in 20th after 16 games which they have claimed just 15 points from. They do, however, head into this fixture in some of their best form that we have seen this season with them winning their last two fixtures against Swindon Town and Macclesfield Town. Grimsby had been enjoying a run of four games without a single loss and had picked up three wins along the way, but, Crewe Alexandra put that run to an end last weekend after they beat them 2-0. Even though these sides look evenly matched this season Grimsby are backed as heavy underdogs and are priced at 4/1 with Bet365, whereas Cambridge sit at 4/5 with SkyBet.

Recommended Bet: Both teams to score at 5/6 Bet365 – BET HERE

Colchester United vs Swindon Town

This Saturday Colchester United will be planning on closing the gap between them and the top two, which currently sits at three points, when they take on 13th placed Swindon Town. John McGreal’s men have looked impressive this season and have been in some good form in recent weeks. Out of their last four games, they have secured nine points, which should have been 12 but fell victim to Grimsby Town. The Robins meanwhile have lacked any real consistency this season which has held them back. After 16 games played they have five wins, six draws and five losses. Phil Brown will have been pleased to have seen his side put a six-game run without a win to bed last time out, after beating Notts County 2-1. Colchester United come in as favourites priced at evens with BetVictor and Swindon sit as underdogs with a price of 14/5 with SkyBet.

Recommended Bet: Colchester to score first at 4/6 Betway – BET HERE

Stevenage vs Oldham Athletic

Oldham Athletic will make the trip to Broadhall Way to take on Dino Maamria’s Stevenage this weekend. This is a game that Dino Maamria will expect his side to win if they want to push for a playoff spot by the end of the season. Stevenage had found themselves higher up the table but a run of bad form in recent weeks has seen them drop down to 8th, however, they did return to winning ways last time out against Cheltenham Town, who they beat 2-0. Franke Bunn will want to forget about his last game for Oldham after they could not get the better of a 10-man Northampton side who beat them 2-1, but a recent win in the Football League Trophy will have boosted the confidence around the camp. Stevenage are priced at 7/5 in this fixture with SkyBet and Oldham sit at 2/1 with Betway.

Recommended Bet: Stevenage to win at 7/5 SkyBet – BET HERE

Morecambe vs Yeovil Town

Jim Bentley’s Morecambe are in desperate need of a win in order to lift them off the relegation zone which they sit just two points clear of. After 16 games they have won just four games and lost a huge ten fixtures. They have taken just one point from their last three games which came against Newport County, who they managed to hold to a 1-1 draw. Bentley will have his work cut out for him on Saturday as they take on Yeovil Town who haven’t lost a game in their last four. This is a good opportunity for Yeovil to push themselves up the table and add to their five wins before they face Lincoln City next in the league. Although these sides are separated by nine places in the table, their odds remain fairly close and you can back the home side at 7/4 with Betway and their opponents sit at 8/5 with BetVictor.

Recommended Bet: Yeovil to win and BTTS at 5/1 SkyBet – BET HERE

Carlisle United vs Newport County

Michael Flynn will travel with his Newport County side to Brunton Park to face 16th placed Carlisle United in matchday 17 of League Two. These are the sort of games that Newport County will need to win if they want to keep their spot up in the top four and push for a spot higher in the league and with their current form, the win looks likely. Flynn’s men have lost just one of their last eight games played and have secured 13 points along the way, but, their last two fixtures have ended in draws so a win is well-needed. Carlisle find themselves in a bit of a slump as they have secured just one win in their last seven games losing five matches along the way and look set for another loss this weekend. You can back 4th place Newport County at a huge 21/10 with Bet365, while Carlisle sit at 13/10 with BetVictor.

Recommended Bet: Newport County to win at 21/10 Bet365 – BET HERE

Crawley Town vs MK Dons

The last game to take place in League Two this Saturday will be between Crawley Town and Milton Keynes Dons. Paul Tisdale will be expecting his side to leave with all three points as they look to stay within touching distance of first-placed Lincoln City. Crawley come off the back of a big defeat against Tranmere Rovers, who put five past them and with MK Dons as their next opponents, they can expect another difficult game. Tisdale will be looking to extend his side’s eight-game streak without a loss this weekend, but will need a better performance from his side than they displayed against Mansfield Town last time out, which earned them a 1-1 draw. If you are feeling brave you can back the home side to win at a price of 16/5 with SkyBet, whereas the safer option of MK Dons is priced at 19/20 with Betway.

Recommended Bet: MK Dons HT/FT at 2/1 Bet365 – BET HERE
