Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool returns to Anfield this Saturday, where they will go head-to-head with Crystal Palace as they attempt to keep their four-point lead over Manchester City intact. Jurgen Klopp will be expecting three points from his side in this fixture as they come up against a side that should pose little threat to them. However, Palace did shock many when they beat Manchester City 3-2 and have the potential to claim another top four sides’ scalp. It hasn’t been the finest start to 2019 for Liverpool with them losing their first two games against Manchester City and Wolves, but they did manage to scrape a victory over Brighton last Saturday. As expected, Liverpool are clear favourites to win this fixture with odds of 1/5 with SkyBet, while Palace sit on 12/1 with Bet365.

Watford vs Burnley

Watford’s impressive season continues and 22 games into the season they find themselves up in seventh place, nine points off sixth place. Javi Gracia will be hoping his side can pick up a simple enough three points on the weekend when they go up against Burnley at Vicarage Road. Their opponents have spent the majority of their season fighting to steer clear of the relegation zone and they currently sit three points clear in 15th. The Clarets arrive in good form after securing three consecutive wins against West Ham, Huddersfield and Fulham. The Hornets are unbeaten in their last three, but only one of those has ended in a victory which came most recently against Crystal Palace. With the backing of their home fans and stronger performances this season, Watford arrive as favourites and can be backed with Betway at a price of 13/20. Burnley sit on 9/2 with SkyBet to take the three points.

Newcastle United vs Cardiff City

Newcastle United have the chance to pull themselves out of the relegation zone this weekend when they go up against Cardiff City at St James’ Park. The first meeting between these sides did not provide a thrilling 90 minutes of football with the scoreline ending 0-0, but with the opportunity for Newcastle to get out of the bottom three, we are expecting a more drama filled fixture. The Toon lost their previous fixture narrowly to Chelsea who scraped a 2-1 victory which is their second consecutive loss, following their 2-0 defeat against Manchester United the week before. The Bluebirds have lost two of their last three fixtures, which includes their shock defeat to Gillingham in the FA Cup. Newcastle are priced at 19/20 with Betway to secure the three points, while Cardiff can be backed with Bet365 at 3/1.

Manchester United vs Brighton

Ole Gunnar Solskjær looks to extend his perfect start in charge at Manchester United this weekend when they take on Brighton at Old Trafford for matchday 23 in the Premier League. It has been onwards and upwards for United since the appointment of Solskjær and the eight-point gap that once separated them from Arsenal is no more with the two sides on equal points. United faced Tottenham Hotspur in their latest fixture which was their first real test since the dismissal of Jose Mourinho and thanks to Marcus Rashford’s single goal they secured the three points. Brighton came close to securing a point against Liverpool in their last match but was beaten by a single goal and this marked their tenth loss of the season. Bet365 have United to win priced at 2/7, while Brighton sit at 10/1.

Bournemouth vs West Ham

Eddie Howe will be hoping his sides poor run of form finally comes to an end this Saturday when they go up against West Ham at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries had made a superb start to the season which had them placed around the top six sides, but with them picking up eleven losses from 15 games they now sit down in 12th just nine points clear of the bottom three. Howe’s most recent defeat came against Everton who eased to a 2-0 victory. The Hammers impressive form continued on the weekend with them securing their ninth win of the season against Arsenal beating them 1-0. Despite their poor form, Bournemouth are favourites for this fixture with odds of 7/5 with Betway, while their opponents sit at 7/4 with SkyBet.

Southampton vs Everton

St Mary’s’ Stadium will be home to Southampton’s 23rd match of the season where they will go head-to-head with Everton. When these sides met at Goodison Park, the Toffees ended up victorious with them winning 2-1 in a close 90 minutes of football.  Saints picked up a huge three points in their previous match against Leicester City, beating the Foxes 2-1 with ten men after Yan Valery was sent off. A so far inconsistent season for Everton sees them placed in tenth place after 22 games with 30 points. The Toffees managed to shake off their defeat to Leicester City in their latest match with a comfortable 2-0 win over Bournemouth. With the home advantage, Saints arrive as slight favourites with odds of 6/4 with SkyBet. Bournemouth sit at 7/4 to take the three points with Bet365.
