Grimsby Town vs Newport County

Grimsby Town returns to Blundell Park this Saturday where they will go up against Newport County. This game should prove to be a close one with both sides having very similar seasons and currently sit just two places apart in the table. The hosts arrive at this fixture after picking up three points against MK Dons, beating them 1-0. Newport County currently sits three points ahead of their opponents and will be keen to increase the gap on Saturday but will need to put out a better performance than their last which saw them draw 0-0 with Port Vale. Bet365 have the hosts to win priced at 13/8 and Newport also sit at 13/8.

Crewe have a tough game on their hands this weekend at their Gresty Road stadium as they go up against fifth-placed Carlisle. David Artell will recognise his opponent’s strength but will also be confident in his side’s ability with them arriving in good form.  The hosts have won their previous three matches and are unbeaten in four, following their recent 2-1 win over Colchester United. Carlisle have had a good season so far and will be looking to build on their back-to-back wins against Cheltenham and Port Vale they picked up prior to this fixture. Cheltenham Town vs Cambridge United

Whaddon Road will be home to a bottom table side battle as Cambridge United takes on Cheltenham Town. The two sides have had little to cheer about this season with them both down the wrong end of the table. The hosts currently sit just above their opponents due to goal difference making this a huge game for either side. Cheltenham put an end to their losing streak last weekend with a 3-2 win over Macclesfield Town, whereas, Cambridge lost their winning streak with a loss against Exeter City who narrowly won 1-0. Bet365 have the hosts to win priced at 31/20, while their opponents sit at 7/4 with SkyBet.

The hosts have been in fine form this season and deserve to be up in third place as they head into matchday 31. Bury went up against Lincoln City in their previous match and it proved to be a thriller with six goals being scored which were evenly shared 3-3.  Crawley hasn’t shared the same success as their opponents this season and finds themselves down in 16th, but they do take a win with them to this clash after they beat Swindon Town 1-0. Northampton vs Colchester

The U’s look to shake off their back-to-back defeats this weekend with a win against Northampton at their JobServe Community Stadium. A point for Keith Curle’s men would be a good result from this fixture with them underperforming this season. The hosts were unable to get the better of Morecambe in their last fixture who held them to a 1-1 draw. Colchester sit nine places above their opponents in eighth and John McGreal will be hoping he can secure three points after losing his last two matches against Mansfield and Crewe. Despite their poor form this season, the hosts are favourites and can be backed with Betway at 6/4, while Colchester sit at 9/5 with SkyBet.

Notts County vs Lincoln City

This League Two clash brings together the league’s both first and last place sides as they go head-to-head at Meadow Lane. Notts County will have their work cut out for them this weekend as they go up against the league leaders and it may be a case of damage limitation for Neal Ardley’s men. The league leaders, Lincoln City look set to pick up a simple three points from this fixture as they arrive on an unbeaten run of six games in the league. The Robins return to home turf this weekend where they go up against a tough Forest Green Rovers outfit in matchday 31 in League Two. Forest Green sit up in fourth place and will be aiming to pick up three points as they look to close the gap on Bury and Mansfield. Following their 1-1 draw with Mansfield Town, they are now unbeaten in their last three. SkyBet has priced the hosts at 9/5 to win and Betway have their opponents at 6/4.

Stevenage lost their winning streak in their previous match when they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Forest Green Rovers. Yeovil Town are having a tough season in League Two and are in danger of facing relegation as they currently sit down in 21st. They had found themselves enjoying back-to-back wins but their recent loss to Lincoln City put that to an end. The hosts have a price of 11/8 with Betway to secure three points, while Yeovil sit at 2/1.

Rovers will be expecting to secure three points from this meeting but will need to improve on their performances as they have lost their last two matches. Bet365 has Port Vale to win priced at 8/5 and Betway has Rovers at 9/5.

Recommended Bet: Tranmere to win at 9/5 Betway – BET HERE

Exeter City vs MK Dons

The final game taking place this weekend in League Two should be an interesting one as two sides who are having very similar seasons go head-to-head. Exeter City finds themselves trailing their opponents by three points making this a great chance for them to close the gap on them. The Grecians head into this match after securing three points against Cambridge United 1-0. MK Dons will be keen on securing three points as they look to hold onto sixth place and push further into the top six. Dons have been struggling in recent games though with them picking up just one win in their last four which came most recently against Oldham. The hosts have odds of 2/1 with Bet365, while MK Dons sit at 13/10.
