Bayern Munich vs Nurnberg

Niko Kovac is under pressure as his team are nine points behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund and unthinkably only 4th in the table, after utterly dominating German football for the past six years. They’ve been given a routine fixture here though and really should come out on top at the Allianz Arena – Nurnberg haven’t won any of their last seven and were humiliated, 7-0, when they visited Dortmund earlier in the season. The visitors are valued at a huge 40/1 with Ladbrokes to get the win, while Kovac’s best odds are 1/10 on with Matchbook. Bayern should be wary of taking their eye of the ball against supposed minnows, though – two weeks ago they were breezing to a comfortable win against relegation-battling Fortuna Dusseldorf, only for two late defensive lapses to be punished in a 3-3 draw. Lewandowski is in good form, having scored a brace in four of his last ten matches.

Recommended Bet: Robert Lewandowski to score two or more goals at 7/4 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke

The Revierderby is the most fierce in German football, and it looks set to be another cracker on Saturday afternoon as Dortmund look to consolidate their place at the top of the table as they visit Arena Auf Schalke – they’re valued at 6/5 with Bet365 to win. Schalke finished runners-up and above Dortmund last season but they’re struggling this time around, down in 12th having won just four league games so far – they’re priced at 12/5 to cause an upset here. Last season the derby between these two teams featured arguably the game of the year, as Schalke battled back from four goals behind to draw 4-4. With a full-strength side full of depth, and Paco Alcacer and Marco Reus providing a killer edge (they’ve got 19 goals between them), Dortmund should be expected to win – they’ve won eight of their last nine in the league and remain unbeaten domestically.

Recommended Bet: Borussia Dortmund to win and both teams to score at 14/5 with BetVictor – BET HERE

Napoli vs Frosinone

The fixture list has been kind to Carlo Ancelotti and Napoli as they’ve been given an easier match on Saturday in Serie A ahead of their crucial, potentially season-defining trip to Anfield next week, which is a must-not-lose. They host Frosinone, who are second-bottom and already five points adrift of safety, having won just one of their fourteen league matches so far this season. They’ve also scored the joint-least goals in Serie A this season. Unsurprisingly, Napoli are odds-on favourites, with 2/11 at Matchbook the shortest odds available, while the visitors have huge odds of 21/1 to win with BetVictor. Ancelotti has rotated a lot this season and probably will once again, calling upon the likes of Amadou Diawara and  keeping Marek Hamsik fresh.

Recommended Bet: Napoli to win to nil at 4/5 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Barcelona vs Espanyol

It’s the big Catalan derby on Saturday night as city rivals Barcelona and Espanyol face off at the Camp Nou. Espanyol had surprised many to be up in the top four in the early months of this season, but come into the match in poor form, having lost three consecutive games to Sevilla, Girona and Getafe – they’re valued at 11/2 to win here. Barcelona are at the top of the table but their form has been unusually patchy and they’re only there by virtue of Real Madrid and Atletico having poor seasons themselves. Camp Nou is usually a tough place to visit but they’ve already dropped seven points to Girona, Athletic and Betis this season, and with 19 goals conceded, they’ve got one of the worst defensive records in the league. Nevertheless, they’re odds-on favourites – 8/15 with Unibet.

Recommended Bet: Barcelona to win and both teams to score at 19/10 with William Hill – BET HERE

Atletico Madrid vs Alaves

It’s third against fourth in the early kickoff on Saturday afternoon as Atletico Madrid take on a plucky Alaves who are punching well above their weight to be in the top four. Diego Simeone’s men were considered by some to be title challengers but they’ve been unable to take advantage of the mass of points dropped by Real Madrid and Barcelona. They’re still tough to beat – nobody in La Liga has lost fewer than their one, but they draw far too often, having tied half of their league matches and four of the last six. A draw is priced at 7/2 with Bet365, while an Atletico win is 4/11. Alaves have dropped off just a bit in recent weeks, with just one win in their last four games, but in last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Sevilla they demonstrated they’re still a handful to come up against, with Ximo Navarro a titan in their back four.

Recommended Bet: Draw at 11/4 with Bet365 – BET HERE
