Italy vs Liechtenstein Betting Preview – 26/03/2019

Italy vs Liechtenstein

Italy return home this Tuesday for their second Euro 2020 Qualifier match which will have them go up against Liechtenstein at the Ennio Tardini Stadium. Roberto Mancini will have been pleased with his side’s first result and will be expecting nothing less than another three points, with the two sides separated by 153 places in the FIFA world rankings. Lichtenstein’s chances of qualifying from Group J are minimal and they are priced as the least likely side to do so from their group, with odds of 2000/1. However, the travelling side will be looking to shake off their first they picked up against Greece.

Italy will be hoping for another strong win this Tuesday to get them off to a perfect start in Group J. Roberto Mancini’s men should have little trouble in securing first place in their group, with Bosnia and Herzegovina being their toughest opponents. Italy arrives at this fixture in good form which has seen them go five games without a single defeat and following their previous win, they have secured three victories in their last five.  The hosts latest fixture threw them up against Finland who put up little resistance to Italy’s attack and suffered a 2-0 defeat. SkyBet has Italy to win on Tuesday priced at 1/50.

After a poor outing during the World Cup Qualifiers which saw them fail to qualify, Italy have upped their game massively. Over the last five fixtures, Italy have conceded just one goal which has led to them keeping four consecutive clean sheets. SkyBet has them to keep another clean sheet priced at 1/6. Moisie Keane bagged himself a goal against Finland in Italy’s opening match and he can be backed to score again with Betway for a price of 8/11. With such a difference in quality between these two sides, we could see a big scoreline and Bet365 has Italy to score over 4.5 goals priced at 8/11.

Lichtenstein are the serious underdogs in Group J and will need some sort of miracle to earn a spot amongst the top two. The travelling side arrives at this fixture having lost four of their last five games and their last win came six matches ago. Their latest fixture saw them go up against Greece who eased to a 2-0 win. If you fancy Lichtenstein to cause an upset this Tuesday then Bet365 is offering odds of 66/1 for them to secure the three points.

The travelling side failed to score in their opening fixture of the European Championship Qualifiers and their chances of scoring in this fixture look even less likely. Bet365 has them to fail to score again priced at 1/5, but if you fancy them to snatch a single goal the price rises to 10/3.
