Accrington vs Wycombe

Midweek League One action returns to the Crown Ground this week and it’s the battle of the mid-table sides as Accrington take on Wycombe. The hosts were flying high after 12 games, but now find themselves without a league win in six matches and after a really poor 1-0 defeat to Rochdale last time out, the home fans will be looking for a response. Wycombe come into this one as the in-form side and after a slow start, Gareth Ainsworth’s side are now undefeated in their last three matches – winning their last match 3-2 against Shrewsbury. Despite a tough run, Stanley still come into this one as the 10/11 favourites with William Hill, whilst the draw is 5/2 with the same bookmaker. The away win here is 3/1 and after a good run of games, we think that could be a good bet.

Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals @ 5/6 with SkyBet – BET HERE

Bristol Rovers vs Gillingham

A huge match between Bristol Rovers and Gillingham is set to take place at the Memorial Stadium on Tuesday evening. The match is a must-win for both teams, with the hosts in the dreaded relegation zone after 19 matches and Gillingham only just outside of the bottom four in 19th. Rovers were on the end of a 3-1 loss to Charlton last time out, whilst the visitors on Tuesday also lost – but their defeat came at home to Luton via the same scoreline. The home win is 10/11 with Bet Victor, whilst the away win is a huge 3/1 with Bet365 and the draw is 5/2 with the same bookmaker.

Recommended bet: Tom Eaves to score first @ 11/2 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Burton vs Charlton

An in-form Charlton travel to the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday night to face off against a Burton side who had hopes of returning to the Championship at the first time of asking this term – but don’t look likely to do so after 18 matches. Nigel Clough’s side sit in 14th, whilst Lee Bowyer’s men are sixth after three-straight wins and a win for either team here could be season defining. This is actually the first ever meeting between the pair and the bookmakers struggle to split the sides – with Unibet pricing a Burton win at 17/10 and the draw at 23/10, whilst the away win is 17/10 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Lyle Taylor to score first @ 5/1 with BetVictor – BET HERE

Doncaster vs Blackpool

Two in-form teams from the third-tier square off at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday evening as eighth place Doncaster take on seventh place Blackpool in a potential pivotal match in the playoff race. The hosts have made a two-game resurgence after a losing-run which had their faithful fans worried, whilst Blackpool have recorded three-straight victories in the league and look like a real contender for a place in the top six come the end of the season. The sides have met once already in the EFL Cup and it was Blackpool who ran out 2-1 winners in the corresponding tie. The same result here is an attractive 23/10 with Betway, whilst the draw is 5/2 with William Hill and the home win is 11/10 with the same bookmaker.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 7/10 with William Hill – BET HERE

Fleetwood vs Coventry

Highbury Stadium will see Fleetwood welcome Coventry on Tuesday night in another important League One clash between two sides who still aspire to be in the playoffs come May. The hosts’ inconsistency in the 19 games played this term has seen them in 13th, whilst 9th place Coventry were on a great run of matches from September to the end of October, but Mark Robins’ side are now without three points in three matches. Joey Barton’s men are 3/2 with Bet Victor to pick up a big three points, whilst the Coventry victory is 19/10 with Unibet. The draw is 11/5 with Betway and with a cagey match expected, that bet is one we like the look of.

Recommended bet: Match to be drawn @ 11/5 with Betway – BET HERE

Luton vs Bradford

Outside of league leaders Portsmouth, Luton are arguably one of the best sides in League One at the moment and Nathan Jones’ side head into their game with Bradford having gone unbeaten in six games and winning five of those. Luton beat Gillingham 3-1 last time out and a tie against bottom of the table Bradford looks an appealing one. However, David Hopkins’ side have looked better in their last two matches – beaten Aldershot in the FA Cup and rivals Oxford United 2-0 in the league last weekend. The favourites are obviously the impressive Luton at 1/3 with Betway, whilst the draw is 4/1 with Betfair and the away win is a huge 10/1 with Bet365.

Recommended bet: Luton to win 3-1 @ 10/1 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Oxford United vs Rochdale

The Kassam Stadium is the host of Oxford against Rochdale this week as two sides in need of a win go head-to-head. Oxford are sat just one place above the relegation zone, whilst Rochdale moved up to 16th after a brilliant 1-0 win over Accrington last weekend. United have won two of the last three meetings and head into this one as 11/8 favourites with Bet365, whilst the draw is 12/5 with the same bookmaker. Rochdale look a good bet at 9/5 with William Hill, but the two sides are tough to separate here with a cagey game expected.

Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals @ 7/9 with Unibet – BET HERE

Peterborough United vs AFC Wimbledon

Steve Evans’ Peterborough look to banish their recent woes which has seen their drop points to both Bradford and Coventry as they square off against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night. The hosts were looking good in the automatic promotion spots after a quarter of the campaign, but recent matches have seen the hosts slip down into fifth. Wimbledon lost their manager Neal Ardley not long ago and a result their performances suffered, but a recent 2-1 win over Southend was positive and they’ll be hoping to capitalise on both their good form and the hosts’ recent slump. Peterborough still remain the even money favourites with Betway, whilst the draw is 5/2 with William Hill. The visitors could be a good bet at 3/1 with Bet365 here, but certainly face an uphill task ahead of them here.

Recommended bet: Ivan Toney to score first @ 11/2 with BetVictor – BET HERE

Portsmouth vs Walsall

League leaders and title favourites Portsmouth continue to go from strength to strength in League One and manager Kenny Jackett seems to have found the correct formula for his side to return to the Championship for the first time in a number of years come next season. Pompey play Walsall in midweek and it’ll be important for the hosts to guard against complacency against a tough side. However, after throwing away a 2-0 lead against ten-man Sunderland at the Bescot Stadium on Saturday, the visitors will need to bounce back here – which could certainly be tough against a team who simply don’t look like being stopped at the moment. Portsmouth are the obvious favourites here at 6/11, whilst the draw is 3/1 with the same bookmaker. The Saddlers come to Fratton Park as the 11/2 outsiders with Betfair and undeniably find themselves up against it here.

Recommended bet: Gareth Evans to score first @ 9/1 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Shrewsbury vs Plymouth

Greenhous Meadow plays host as Shrewsbury take on Plymouth in yet another important fixture in round 20 of League One action this week. The hosts lost last time out in a five-goal thriller against Wycombe, whilst Plymouth beat Fleetwood 2-1 on home soil, but will need to follow it up here to avoid their hard work being undone. Both sides look to be among the standout contenders for relegation, but can make a big change in their season if they pick up three points. The hosts are the favourites at 6/7 with Unibet, whilst the draw is 11/4 with Betway and the away win here is a big 16/5 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 6/7 with William Hill – BET HERE

Southend United vs Scunthorpe

Southend take on Scunthorpe at Roots Hall in a big, big match in the third-tier on Tuesday evening. The hosts have lost all of their last four matches and seem to be spiralling out of control after what was a good start in their opening ten matches. Pre-season playoff contenders Scunthorpe are also struggling and sit in 18th – three places below their opponents – and need three points here to avoid slipping further towards the bottom four. The sides last met in January and the game was a brilliant one, with the hosts winning the corresponding tie 3-2. However, this match is arguably one of the biggest in contrast to past meetings and it’s the home team who return home as the 3/4 favourites with Bet365, whilst the draw is 5/2, also with Bet365. The visitors last beat their opponents in Southend-on-Sea back in 2013 and come into this one as the 7/2 outsiders with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Over 3.5 goals @ 2/1 with Betfair – BET HERE

Sunderland vs Barnsley

Easily the tie of the League One midweek action comes from the Stadium of Light on Tuesday evening as Jack Ross’ Sunderland take on Daniel Stendel’s Barnsley in a top-three clash in the North-East. Both teams are two of the relegated sides from last season’s Championship campaign and are desperate to go up as one of the two automatic promoted sides this term. Sunderland are arguably the better team of this season so far and find themselves two points above their opponents after losing just once this term and going unbeaten at home. Barnsley though are most certainly dangerous and will fancy their chances to win their third-straight match against the Black Cats after back-to-back away wins. Despite being the favourites, the Wearside team are still a good price at 16/11 with Unibet and the draw is 5/2 with William Hill. The away win is a big price of 21/10 with Bet365 and with Sunderland having drawn their last two and having a lot of injury problems, that may be looked at as a good price.

Recommended bet: Sunderland to win 2-1 @ 9/1 with SkyBet – BET HERE
