Mansfield vs Notts County

It’s round 21 of the League Two calendar this weekend and the lunchtime game on Saturday will see Mansfield take on Notts County. The hosts are sixth in the league after 19 matches and a win could get them into the playoff spots. Mansfield certainly look good to do so after losing just once this term and with Notts County in the relegation zone they’ll be desperate to defy the odds to pick up only their fourth win of the campaign. The hosts are the favourites at 2/5 with William Hill, whilst the draw is 15/4 with Bet Victor and the visitors to win is a big 6/1 with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Under 2.5 goals @ 4/5 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Bury vs Exeter

Gigg Lane is the host of Bury against Exeter on Saturday afternoon as two of the top seven square off in an important clash. The hosts are in fifth and know a fourth win in five matches could get them into the automatic promotion spots. Exeter were flying after ten matches, but another ten games has seen their form dip dramatically and they know they need three points here to avoid dropping out of the playoff spots. The hosts are the 6/11 favourites with Betfair, whilst the visitors are the outsiders after a poor run and are priced at a big 19/4 here with Bet Victor. The draw could be a good bet at 16/5 with William Hill and is certainly a bet to keep an eye on.

Recommended bet: Bury to win 2-1 @ 15/2 with Bet Victor – BET HERE

Cheltenham vs Grimsby

Cheltenham play Grimsby at Whaddon Road in the fourth-tier this weekend as two sides who have struggled throughout this season look to record an all-important victory. The hosts lost last time out but prior to that managed to go undefeated in three and got themselves out of the bottom two – whilst Grimsby have impressed as of late and have won two of their past three, whilst drawing the other. Cheltenham are the 6/5 favourites with Bet 365, whilst the visitors are an attractive 13.5 with the same bookmaker and the draw is 9/4 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Grimsby double chance @ 8/11 with Unibet – BET HERE

Colchester vs Macclesfield

Colchester return to their beloved home ground to take on Macclesfield on Saturday as the hosts look for another huge victory to cement their place in the top three and potentially even get themselves into the top-two in the division. Macclesfield are rock bottom of the league and are really struggling, but the last two matches have been really positive with the visitors picking up maximum points against Yeovil and Exeter. United were beaten by Newport late last month, but seem to have recovered and two matches undefeated means they are the big favourites at 1/2 with William Hill, whilst the draw is 16/5 with the same bookmaker and the visitors are a big 5/1 with Betway.

Recommended bet: Match to be drawn @ 16/5 with William Hill – BET HERE

Crawley vs Northampton

Northampton travel to Broadfield Stadium on Saturday afternoon to take on a Crawley side just three places above them in the league. The hosts have spiralled down the division after three-straight losses, but a recent win over 15th place Crewe was an important one and they’ll be confident of picking up another three points here. Northampton are without a win in three, but they did beat Cambridge United in the EFL Trophy in midweek away from home and that’ll be the performance they hope to emulate on their second match on the road in four days. The hosts are 13/5 to win, whilst the visitors are 8/7 – both of which are priced with Bet 365 – and the draw here is a bet we like at 27/11 with Unibet.

Recommended bet: Ollie Palmer to score first @ 9/2 with Sky Bet – BET HERE

Crewe vs Oldham

Alexandra Stadium is the host of Crewe against Oldham on Saturday and the match is an important one between two sides who are separated by just one point in the fourth-tier. The hosts are in 15th, but a second consecutive win could see them into mid-table – whilst the visitors are undefeated in four and another three points for the second time in five matches could get them into 11th. The bookmakers have these sides reasonably split, with Crewe priced at 2/1 to win the tie with Bet 365 and the visitors at 3/2 with Betway – whilst the draw is an attractive price at 23/10 with Bet Victor.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 8/11 with Betway – BET HERE

MK Dons vs Carlisle

High-flying MK Dons rocketed back to the top of the table with a win over Morecambe last time out and this week they welcome Carlisle to the Stadium MK. The visitors are in 11th after two games without a win and a 1-1 draw with Notts County was somewhat frustrating against an uninspiring relegation contender last time out. The sides have not met since 2014 and it was Carlisle who extended their unbeaten run against Dons to three matches, but the hosts are the 4/7 favourites here with Bet 365, whilst the draw is 31/10 with Unibet and the visitors are a big underdog at 5/1 with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Over 3.5 goals @ 15/8 with Betfair – BET HERE

Morecambe vs Port Vale

Morecambe take on Port Vale at the Globe Arena on Saturday afternoon as 20th plays 16th in the fourth-tier. The visitors are the in-form side having recorded a fantastic 3-0 victory over Yeovil on the road last time out, whilst Morecambe’s last three points came in mid-November and that result against Forest Green will be one they look to emulate in what looks to be a potential season-defining fixture for both of these teams. The hosts are 9/5 with William Hill, whilst the draw is 23/10 with Unibet and the visitors are the slight favourites at 8/5 with Bet Victor.

Recommended bet: Under 2.5 goals @ 5/8 with William Hill – BET HERE

Stevenage vs Lincoln

Lincoln take on Stevenage in what could be one of the fixtures of the League Two weekend as the two sides from the top-nine teams in the division go head-to-head at Broadhall Way. The visitors have been held to back-to-back draws in their last two and that has seen Lincoln drop down to second, but a win here could get them back to the top of the league if promotion rivals MK Dons were to drop points. Stevenage lost last time out against Swindon, but three wins in four before that will be what they hope to emulate here to get themselves into the playoff spots. Lincoln are a really nice price at evens with William Hill, whilst the hosts are 3/1 with Unibet and the draw is 12/5 with Betway.

Recommended bet: John Akinde to score first @ 4/1 with Bet 365 – BET HERE

Swindon vs Newport

The theme of the weekend is important matches in the 21st round of League Two action and the game from the County ground is no different as 12th place Swindon take on fourth place Newport. Despite being separated by eight places, just eight points is the difference and after winning their last two matches, Swindon will be confident of narrowing that gap. Newport have won two of their last three matches and a win here could get them into the playoff spots, whilst a loss or a draw could see them miss out on a huge chance to progress. The hosts are 7/5 to win here with Bet 365, whilst the visitors are 21/10 with the same bookmaker and the draw is 5/2 with Bet Victor.

Recommended bet: Newport to win and BTTS @ 11/2 with Sky Bet – BET HERE

Tranmere vs Cambridge

The exciting Tranmere return to Prenton Park for an important match against Cambridge as eighth plays 21st in Birkenhead. The hosts are outside of the playoff spots just on goal difference and a win here is likely to get them back in contention for a top seven spot, but they’ll have to bounce back from a three-game winless drought. Cambridge are also without a win in three and are in desperate need of the three points to propel them away from the dreaded drop zone, whilst the draw which is priced at 5/2 with Bet 365 wouldn’t do much for either side. The hosts are 8/7 with Betway to win, whilst the visitors are 12/5 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Tranmere to win 3-1 @ 16/1 with Unibet – BET HERE
