Bury vs Tranmere

League Two football is back this weekend and an interesting Saturday afternoon tie comes from Gigg Lane as fourth place Bury welcome eighth place Tranmere to their home ground. The match should be a cracker, but both sides will be desperate to bounce back from a recent defeat in the fourth-tier, with Bury losing 4-2 away to Oldham and Tranmere losing 3-2 away to Notts County. The hosts are the 5/8 favourites to win here with William Hill, whilst the draw is 3/1 with the same bookmaker and the away win is an attractive 15/4 with Betway.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 8/11 with William Hill – BET HERE

Crawley vs Carlisle

Crawley play Carlisle at Broadfield Stadium on Saturday afternoon and the match is an important one for two inconsistent performers going to battle in round 23 of League Two action. Carlisle won last time out, beating Colchester 4-0 on home soil – but they hadn’t won three matches prior to that and they’ll have to pick up three points here if they hope to move up the table from their current position of 12th. Crawley have lost back-to-back fixtures and have won just one match since the latter stage of October – meaning a win here is also vital, particularly with the match being on home turf. The hosts are 2/1 with Bet Victor, whilst the visitors are the favourites at 15/11 with Unibet and the draw is 12/5 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals @ evens with BetVictor – BET HERE

Forest Green vs Crewe

Ninth plays 17th in League Two this weekend as Forest Green welcome Crewe in the 23rd match of the season. The match will be only the third ever meeting between these sides and it’s honours even at the moment, with both sides having a win to their name in both of their home ties. However, it’s Forest Green who are the more in-form side so far this season and two wins from their last three means Crewe could have an uphill task ahead of them to propel themselves away from the dreaded drop zone – particularly given they’ve lost their last two without scoring and have not won a game on the road since late October. The hosts are the 5/6 favourites with Unibet, whilst the draw is 12/5 with Bet 365 and the visitors are 7/2 with Betway.

Recommended bet: Reuben Reid to score first @ 4/1 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Grimsby vs Notts County

Blundell Park is the host of a hugely important fixture between Grimsby and Notts County on Saturday afternoon as 18th plays 23rd this weekend. The visitors are the side in the bottom two in the division and they look in danger of potential relegation this term, but they have only lost three of their last four matches since Neal Ardley became permanent manager and after winning 3-2 last time out against Notts County, they’ll be confident of picking up a win to move out of the relegation spots. Grimsby aren’t in bad form either and a 2-1 win over Swindon last time out made it three wins from their last five matches and another three points here could get them as high as 14th. The hosts are 6/5 with Unibet to win here, whilst the draw is 9/4 with Betfair and the visitors are 12/5 with Bet 365.

Recommended bet: Notts County double chance @ 2/3 with Betway – BET HERE

Lincoln vs Newport County

Table toppers Lincoln take on sixth place Newport at Sincil Bank on Saturday afternoon in what could be one of the matches of the weekend in League Two. The hosts are flying high on 43 points in the fourth-tier, whilst Newport are only eight points behind them in sixth having won ten and drawn five of their 21 matches played. Luton aren’t the team with the last amount of losses – in fact they are third behind MK Dons and Mansfield on three – but 13 wins is the most across the division and they’ll be confident of making it three-straight wins here on Saturday afternoon.

Recommended bet: Lincoln to win 3-1 @ 15/1 with BetVictor – BET HERE

Macclesfield vs Port Vale

Bottom of the table Macclesfield play host to 15th place Port Vale in round 23 of the League Two schedule on Saturday afternoon and the match is a big one for both sides in the landscape of their seasons. Port Vale travel to Macclesfield having gone unbeaten in their last three, whilst the hosts might be bottom of the table but they have shown signs of resurgence with three wins from their last four matches. Macclesfield will have to pick up three points here to avoid being back to square one and adrift of the rest of the relegation contenders, whilst the draw isn’t handy for either side. The draw is 2/1 with Betfair, whilst the hosts are 13/8 to win with Bet Victor and the visitors are 7/4 with Unibet.

Recommended bet: Under 2.5 goals @ 2/3 with Unibet – BET HERE

MK Dons vs Colchester

MK Dons take on Colchester at Stadium MK on Saturday as second plays third in a huge match in the automatic promotion race. The hosts have their sights set on Lincoln at the top of the table and they know a win could well get them back to the top of the pack, but they have to avoid becoming complacent as they take on a more than capable Colchester looking to cement their spot in the top three and even get closer to both their opponents and Lincoln with three points. Dons have won their last two, whilst United lost last time out after two-straight wins and they’ll need to bounce back. The hosts are the 4/5 favourites with Unibet, whilst the draw is 5/2 with William Hill and the visitors are 15/4 with Bet 365.

Recommended bet: Kieran Agard to score first @ 7/2 with SkyBet – BET HERE

Morecambe vs Cambridge United

Important fixtures in round 23 of the League Two calendar is the theme and this fixture is no different as 20th place Morecambe take on 22nd place Cambridge. Both sides need a win to put a halt to their slump, with Morecambe now without a win in four matches and Cambridge without a win in six matches in all competitions. The last two meetings between these two teams has ended in a 0-0 draw and the same result here is a huge 21/10 with Bet 365, whilst the hosts to pick up a win is 17/10 with the same bookmaker and the visitors are 8/5 with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Match to be drawn @ 21/10 with William Hill – BET HERE

Oldham vs Exeter

Boundary Park is the host as Oldham play Exeter on Saturday afternoon. The hosts are one of the most in-form teams in the division having won their last two and finding themselves unbeaten in six League Two matches, whilst Exeter were in horrendous form having lost three-straight games in all competitions – but they bounced back with a 1-0 home win over Crewe last weekend. The teams know each other well and that alone should make for a good fixture. It’s the hosts who are the 10/11 favourites with Unibet, whilst the visitors are 3/1 and the draw is 12/5 – both with Bet 365.

Recommended bet: Exeter to win 2-1 @ 13/1 with BetVictor – BET HERE

Stevenage vs Mansfield

Broadhall Way is the host of Stevenage against Mansfield this weekend as the hosts look to bounce back from a three-game winless run against one of the most impressive sides of the season so far. Mansfield are in fifth, but they are top of the table in terms of least amount of losses having lost just one and they’ll be confident of picking up yet another win here, despite having not played a competitive league match four two weeks. The hosts are the big outsiders at 27/10 with Bet Victor, whilst the visitors are an attractive evens with Bet 365 and the draw is 11/5 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 9/11 with Betfair – BET HERE

Swindon vs Cheltenham

Swindon welcome Cheltenham to the County Ground on Saturday afternoon as 13th plays 21st in a big match for both sides. Prior to their last game, Swindon had recorded three-straight matches and they’ll be looking to bounce back from that loss to get back in the winning column. Cheltenham are two matches undefeated, but they need to win to continue their resurgence to move up the table here – with a loss potentially seeing them back into the bottom two. The hosts are an attractive 12/11 with Betway, whilst the draw is 12/5 and the visitors are 13/5 with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Under 2.5 goals @ 4/5 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Yeovil vs Northampton

Yeovil square off against Northampton at Huish Park this weekend in the 23rd match of the season for the visitors, but only the 21st match of the season for the hosts. Northampton have gone undefeated in their last two games and they could get themselves into mid-table with a win here. Yeovil’s two matches in hand has meant they’ve slipped down into 19th, but their form hasn’t exactly helped matters and aside from drawing their last match against Cambridge – five-straight losses has halted their progress. This tie is a tough one to predict, with the hosts 15/8 with Bet Victor, whilst the draw is 9/4 with Betfair and the visitors are an attractive 16/11 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Northampton double chance @ 4/9 with William Hill – BET HERE
