Crawley Town Vs Exeter City

One of the most intriguing League Two fixtures from the mid-week action sees Crawley Town face Exeter City. Crawley come into this one on the back of a surprise 4-1 win over high-flyers Newport County. That was a win that took them up to eighth in the table, just goal difference from the top seven. Meanwhile, Exeter benefited from Newport’s loss, moving a point ahead of the Exiles in second. Crawley’s win particularly helped as Exeter themselves slipped up on the weekend, drawing on the road against Grimsby. The Grecians remain four points behind leaders Lincoln City, a gap they will be looking to narrow with a win here. They are favourites to win this one at 6/4 with Bet365. Crawley are at 2/1 with the same bookmaker.

Recommended bet: Exeter to win and both teams to score 3/1 with Sky Bet – BET HERE

Morecambe Vs Mansfield

Two teams who have suffered underwhelming starts to the season go head-to-head as Mansfield Town travel to Morecambe. Mansfield are down in mid-table, five points off the play-offs but they do have two games in-hand. Last time out, the Stags picked up a good point at Swindon despite having a man sent off. Morecambe head into this one on the back of their latest defeat, losing to Colchester at home. That result left them down in 18th, just four points above the drop zone. Mansfield are heavy favourites in this one, priced at 17/20 with Sky Bet. Morecambe are a long-shot 10/3 with most bookmakers, including Bet 365.

Macclesfield Vs Northampton

Macclesfield finally have their first win and they head into a home clash with Northampton suddenly feeling confident. The Silkmen are still bottom, three points from safety, but they will be delighted to get their first win at the 14th attempt, beating Carlisle United last time out. Northampton head to Cheshire on the back of a defeat, losing to MK Dons last time out and that left them 19th in the table. This one will be seen as an important game for both sides given just five points separate them in the table. Despite getting up and running, Macclesfield are the outsiders here at 9/5 with William Hill. Northampton are at a shorter 8/5 with Bet365.

Swindon Vs Cambridge

Cambridge head to Wiltshire to take on Swindon as they look to put a terrible start to the season behind them. But they are likely to find it difficult given their form. The U’s did pick up an impressive away draw to leaders Lincoln last time out, but that followed a run of four straight defeats in the league, leaving them in 23rd, one point from safety. Swindon, meanwhile, head into this one on the back of a draw against 10-man Mansfield. Swindon failed to find a way past the 10-man Stags despite having 47 minutes to come up with a goal. As a result, they are now 12th, four points from the play-offs. Swindon are favourites here at 6/4 with Bet365. Cambridge are at 2/1 with Sky Bet.

Recommended bet: Elijah Adebayo to score first at 11/2 with Bet Victor – BET HERE

Yeovil Vs Crewe

A bottom-half battle sees Crewe head to the South West to take on Yeovil Town. Crewe are currently down in 17th but they do have a game in-hand which could take them up five positions, as things stand, should they win. Last time out, Alexandra picked up a big away win over Stevenage and that made it four points from six games. Yeovil head into this one in 14th spot, five points off the top seven. Last time out, they picked up a decent point against Tranmere Rovers. The home side are favourites to win this one at 5/4 with Sky Bet. Crewe are at 5/2 with Bet365.

Recommended bet: Draw at 5/2 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Lincoln Vs Carlisle

The league leaders will be looking to get back to winning ways this Tuesday when they face Carlisle United at home. Lincoln were held by Cambridge last time out, though they weren’t helped by a sending off as early as the 21st minute. Thankfully for them, second and third both slipped up, meaning Lincoln’s four-point lead remains. Carlisle became the first team to fall to defeat against Macclesfield Town last time out and it goes without saying, that’s a disappointing result. They’ll be desperate to bounce back here, but they will know it’s going to be a tall order. Lincoln are overwhelming favourites at 1/2 with most, including Coral. Carlisle are a huge 6/1 with Ladbrokes.

Recommended bet: Lincoln -1 handicap at 11/8 with Ladbrokes – BET HERE

Stevenage Vs Port Vale

Stevenage welcome Port Vale as they look to rediscover their play-off challenging form. The Boro were 1-0 by Crewe last time out, making it three consecutive defeats in all competitions and two in the league. That run has left them in 10th position, one point from the play-offs. Port Vale will be more concerned of the drop than the top and they are in 16th after 14 games. Vale picked up a big win over Oldham last time out following Tom Pope’s penalty. Stevenage are favourites here as expected. Bet365 have Boro at 5/4 to win, while Port Vale are at 13/5.

Recommended bet: Alex Revell to score first at 6/1 with Sky Bet – BET HERE

Grimsby Vs Colchester

Grimsby welcome Colchester as they look to build on a big result last time out. Town managed a draw with second-placed Exeter City and that saw them move two points clear of the drop. It’s been another disappointing season for Grimsby so far, but they will be hoping to build on Exeter result with a home win here. Colchester head to Grimsby having beaten Morecambe last time out and they are now on 25 points for the season. That’s a tally good enough for fifth place. They can close the gap on those above with an away win this weekend. The bookmakers see that as a likely possibility, Sky Bet price the Essex club at 11/10 to win. Grimsby are at a long 5/2.

Recommended bet: Frank Nouble to score at any time at 11/5 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Oldham Vs Cheltenham

Oldham and Cheltenham go head-to-head, and both teams will be looking to improve on disappointing starts to the season. Oldham have struggled to adjust to League Two life following relegation, picking up just 17 points from 13, leaving them in 15th, albeit with a game in-hand. Last time out, the Latics suffered a disappointing defeat to Port Vale. Cheltenham are finding things tough again this season, currently occupying the last safety position. The Robins are in 22nd, just one point above Cambridge United. Last time out, Cheltenham drew 1-1 with Forest Green Rovers. Oldham are overwhelming favourites at 1/1 with most bookmakers. Cheltenham are 10/3 with Sky Bet.

Recommended bet: Oldham -1 handicap at 13/5 with Bet 365 – BET HERE

MK Dons Vs Notts County

MK Dons welcome Notts County as they look to continue their surge towards the top of the table. The Dons are now third after a 1-0 win over Northampton at home on the weekend. Though, they are only ahead of Newport on goal difference, so they will likely need to pick up three points at home against Notts County here. Notts head to Milton Keynes on the back of a 4-0 stuffing at the hands of Bury that has left them in 21st position, just two points ahead of the drop zone. Sky Bey have MK Dons at heavy favourites here, pricing them at 3/5. Notts County are at 5/1 with Bet365.

Recommended bet: MK Dons HT/ MK Dons FT at 11/8 with Sky Bet – BET HERE

Bury Vs Newport County

Newport County head to Bury on the back of a big defeat at the hands of Crawley last time out, a result that saw them drop to fourth. The Exiles have a plethora of injury problems and even manager Mike Flynn had to put himself on the bench to fill the gap last time out. Their injury troubles are likely to continue here making this a difficult trip. Especially as Bury welcome the Welsh club on the back of that 4-0 home win over Notts County. Bury are now seventh, just inside the play-offs on goal difference. Bury are actually favourites here at 4/5 despite heading into the game lower in the table. Newport are at 7/2 with Bet365.

Recommended bet: Draw at 3/1 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Forest Green Vs Tranmere

Tranmere head to Gloucester as they look to reignite their play-off form. The White Army drew against Yeovil last time out and they will be keen to get back to winning ways here. Tranmere are currently in fifth position, a fine start to their first season back in the league. Forest Green are spending their second season in League Two and they have significantly built on last season, currently in ninth spot following a disappointing draw against Cheltenham last time out. Forest Green are actually favourites here, priced at 6/5 with Unibet. Tranmere are 11/5 with most bookmakers to win.
