Lincoln vs Mansfield

League Two action returns to Sincil Bank this weekend as Lincoln host Mansfield in an exciting clash on Saturday lunchtime. The match should be a cracker between two sides in the top five in the table and it’s actually the visitors Mansfield who are in the better form and remain only one of two sides who have lost no more than one game this term. Lincoln were flying at the top of the table, but a slight drop off in form has seen them drop down into second. However, a win here would be another huge result and with their game in hand on title rivals MK Dons, the home side still have the advantage after 17 matches this term. Lincoln are 15/11 to win this one, whilst the draw is 12/5 and the away win is 11/5 – both of which are with Bet365.

Recommended bet: Lincoln to win 2-1 @ 9/1 with BetVictor – BET HERE

Cambridge vs Bury

Cambridge play Bury at Abbey Stadium in the first of Saturday afternoon’s 3pm matches and both sides need a win for contrasting reasons. Visitors Bury are sat in eighth, knowing a win could potentially take them into the all-important playoffs, whilst home side Cambridge are desperate to pick up the three points on their return to their home ground to avoid slipping further towards the dreaded drop zone in the fourth-tier. The match will be the first for three years and it’s Bury who have won the last two, which is also part of the reasoning for their odds to win this match at evens with Bet365. The draw is 13/5, also with Bet365, whilst the home win is a big 27/10 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Nicky Maynard to score first @ 4/1 with SkyBet – BET HERE

Carlisle vs Forest Green

Tenth play 11th in League Two on Saturday afternoon as Carlisle play Forest Green at Brunton Park. The tie is an extremely important one for both sides in order for their progress in the division and it’s the home side who come into the game in the better form having won back-to-back games against Newport and Swindon – scoring three and four goals in each. Forest Green were in fine form earlier in the season, but their last two matches have seen them lose for only the second and third time this campaign. Those two defeats have seen Rovers drop down the table into tenth and a win here is not only important for their league position, but also to ensure they recoup some much-needed confidence. Carlisle are a surprising 19/10 outsider with Unibet, whilst the visitors are favourites at 3/2 with William Hill. The draw is also an intriguing bet at a price of 12/5 with Bet365.

Recommended bet:  Under 2.5 goals @ 3/4 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Cheltenham vs Newport

Whaddon Road is the host of an important fourth-tier clash between Cheltenham and Newport this Saturday, as two sides at the opposite ends of the table go in pursuit of an important three points. Cheltenham come into this match having picked up four impressive points in their last two matches against Notts County and high-flyers Mansfield, whilst visitors Newport bounced back from a defeat to Carlisle with a win against rivals Colchester last time out. County sit third in the table and a win could take them into the top two, whilst Cheltenham need three points to avoid slipping into the bottom two. The hosts are 9/5 with Betfair to win here, whilst the draw is 12/5 with Bet365 and the away win for Newport is 17/11 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Jamille Matt to score first @ 4/1 with SkyBet – BET HERE

Colchester vs Exeter

Two of the top six square off at the Colchester Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon as fourth plays Colchester and sixth place Exeter go to battle. The hosts were beaten by promotion rivals Newport last time out in a game which could’ve sent them into the automatic promotion spots, but will be hoping to bounce back with an important three points here. Exeter head into this one having gone a shocking five matches without a win and after a cracking start to the new campaign, the visitors will be disappointed to find themselves out of the top three. This should be a brilliant match in the South of England and it’s the hosts who are the 6/5 favourites to win with Unibet, whilst the draw is 5/2 with Bet Victor and an away win is 23/10 with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 6/7 with William Hill – BET HERE

Crawley vs Crewe

Crawley are the host of an important clash at Broadfield Stadium as they take on Crewe for the second time in this calendar year. The corresponding tie back in April ended in a 2-1 win for the visitors and after a terrific 3-2 victory over Tranmere last time out, Crewe will be confident of achieving a second consecutive victory in the fourth-tier. Crawley are on a run of seven matches without a win in all competitions and the hosts will be desperate to repeat the similar form shown from this time last month when they beat Newport 4-1 on home soil. The home win here is 7/5 with William Hill, whilst the draw is 26/11 with Unibet and the away win is 2/1 with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Callum Ainley to score anytime @ 9/2 with William Hill – BET HERE

Macclesfield vs Yeovil

Two of the struggling sides in League Two meet at Moss Rose this weekend as visitors Yeovil travel south to face a Macclesfield side who remain the worst performing side across the four football league divisions, having won just once this term. The home side have lost 13 matches, four of which have come in their last four and a win here is imperative if they hope to start their resurgence this term. Yeovil lost to Morecambe last time out, a result which dragged them back towards the dreaded drop zone, but they’ll be confident of achieving an important win here to get back to the form shown prior to their recent tie. The home win is a big price of 5/2 with William Hill, whilst the draw is 28/11 with Unibet. Yeovil come into this tie as the even money favourites, as fans would expect given the horrendous form of their opponents.

Recommended bet: Yeovil to win 1-0 @ 6/1 with Betway – BET HERE

Morecambe vs Notts County

A theme of this weekend’s League Two matches is pivotal matches at both ends of the table and this tie between 19th place Morecambe and 23rd place Notts County at the Globe Arena is no different. The hosts have made a slight resurgence having won back-to-back fixtures in the division against Yeovil and Forest Green, whilst Notts County’s resurgence of early-October seems to be somewhat of a distant memory – and three points for the managerless side is a must. The corresponding tie back in late-2017 ended in a 4-1 victory for the visitors, but that result looks unlikely here and that is evident in County’s odds of 9/5 to win here with Bet365. The draw is 12/5 – also with Bet365 – and the hosts are the narrow favourites at 8/5 with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Under 2.5 goals @ 6/7 with William Hill – BET HERE

Northampton vs Grimsby

Northampton return to the Sixfields Stadium this weekend as they look to continue their four-match winning run on home soil against a Grimsby side heading into this tie off the back of an impressive 1-0 win over Crawley in their last fourth-tier match. This match will be the first competitive meeting for five years, with their last coming in an FA Cup tie back in 2013 – which ended in a 2-0 win for Grimsby in the reverse fixture. Saturday’s game will also be the first match at the Sixfields for just under a decade and three points will be huge for both teams if they can pick up a win. Northampton’s four game unbeaten run in the division has them as the 8/11 favourites with Betway, whilst Grimsby’s recent win hasn’t made much difference in their chances of winning this one and they remain the 4/1 outsiders with Bet365, whilst the draw is 29/10 with Betfair.

Recommended bet: Kevin van Veen to score first @ 9/2 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Port Vale vs Swindon

16th plays 18th at Vale Park on Saturday afternoon as Port Vale hosts Swindon in a crossroads tie after 18 matches in League One. Neither side have covered themselves in glory this term, with Vale managing six wins from 18 and Swindon just five – but a win for either side here could get them as high as mid-table, which would be a big achievement considering the recent form of the two teams. The hosts were beaten 1-0 by Mansfield last time out, whilst Swindon were hammered 4-0 by Carlisle. Those results have the odds for both sides to win split down the middle, with the hosts priced at 3/2 and the visitors at 9/5 – both with William Hill and the draw is 9/4 with Unibet.

Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals @ 12/11 with Unibet – BET HERE

Stevenage vs MK Dons

Table toppers MK Dons travel to Broadhall Way on Saturday afternoon as they look to pick up an important victory against Stevenage as the visitors look to cement their place at the top of the table after 19 matches. Stevenage won’t be best pleased to be welcoming the best side in the league this weekend after three-straight defeats in all competitions, but their league form prior to their recent defeat to Bury was impressive and that’ll be the benchmark they hope to reach here. The Dons have looked devastating as of late and understandably come into this match as the 6/7 favourites with Bet Victor. The draw is an unlikely result at 14/5 with William Hill and the hosts are 10/3 outsiders to pick up a shock three points with Betfair.

Recommended bet: MK Dons to win and over 2.5 goals @ 7/4 with SkyBet – BET HERE

Tranmere vs Oldham

Prenton Park will be the host of an important match between playoff hopefuls Tranmere and mid-table Oldham this weekend. Tranmere looked like potential automatic promotion contenders prior to their recent shock defeat to Crewe and a win would definitely get the hosts back in contention for a place in the top three. Oldham have hopes of making it into the top seven, but are currently six points off this weekend’s opponents and a win here is vital if they hope to keep their admirations alive. This tie normally throws up a good match for the neutral, but the sides have not met for four years, with the last tie ending in a 2-2 draw four years ago. Despite their league position, Tranmere are still a big price at 17/11 to win with Bet365. The draw is 23/10, also with Bet365 and the visiting side an attractive price of 9/5 with William Hill – which could be a good bet looking at their recent performance against Cambridge.

Recommended bet: James Norwood to score first @ 9/2 with Bet365 – BET HERE
