Bury vs Cheltenham

Midweek League Two action kicks off at Gigg Lane on Tuesday night as hosts Bury take on visitors Cheltenham in an important clash. The hosts are in ninth and a win here could get them into the top seven, whilst Cheltenham are in 22nd and are in need of continuing their unbeaten streak – stretching it to four-straight matches – in order to move away from the dreaded drop zone out of the football league. The hosts are the 6/11 favourites with Bet Victor here, whilst the draw is 10/3 and the away win is 11/2 – both of which are with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals @ 10/11 with BetVictor – BET HERE

Crewe vs Cambridge

Crewe take on Cambridge at the Alexandra Stadium on Tuesday night in a very close clash between 16th and 21st in the table. The hosts have won one more game than their opponents and find themselves five places above Cambridge as a result, but an away win could soon change that and Crewe could be dragged closer to the bottom two come the end of play on Tuesday. The bookmakers struggle to separate these two teams, but it’s Crewe who are the slight favourites at 8/5 with Bet365, whilst the visitors are 9/5 with the same bookmaker and the draw is 5/2 with Unibet.

Exeter vs Macclesfield

St James Park is the host of Exeter against Macclesfield on Tuesday and after a slump in form, the home side couldn’t have asked for a better fixture to begin their resurgence. Macclesfield travel to Exeter having won just two games and finding themselves stuck at the foot of the table, but a recent win over Yeovil will have confidence higher than it already was. Exeter were flying high in the top four not so long ago, but now find themselves in sixth after a run of matches without a win. Despite the visitors having won their last, they’re still the huge outsiders here at 17/4 with Unibet, whilst the draw is 3/1 with Bet Victor and the hosts are priced as the favourites at 7/11 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Exeter to win 1-0 @ 5/1 with William Hill – BET HERE

Forest Green vs Colchester

Colchester return to away action as they travel to face Forest Green this week as the visitors look to end a two-game winless run against the side in tenth place. Forest Green won last time out, edging out Carlisle 2-1 and they’ll be hoping that win can get them back on the right track ahead of the hectic winter schedule. The sides have met just twice before and it’s the away team who have won both, with the corresponding time back in April ending 2-1 to the U’s. The visitors are an attractive price of 11/5 with Bet365 and the draw is 12/5 with the same bookmaker. Rovers are 5/4 with Betway here and after winning last time out, they’ll be confident of doing so.

Recommended bet: Colchester to win and btts @ 6/1 with SkyBet – BET HERE

Grimsby vs Tranmere

Cleethorpes’ Blundell Park hosts yet another important clash between home side Grimsby and travelling Tranmere this week. Both sides need a win for contrasting reasons, with the visitors looking to pick up their first win in two matches in order to cement their place in the top seven, whilst Grimsby need a win to avoid being dragged back towards the dreaded drop zone. Despite being 13 places below their opponents, it’s actually Grimsby who are in the better form here having gone unbeaten in two, but that doesn’t affect outsider status here and odds of 11/5 with William Hill is evidence of that. The draw is 9/4 with Unibet and its Tranmere who are the favourites at 6/5 with Betway.

Recommended bet: James Norwood to score first @ 4/1 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Mansfield vs Crawley

It’s a clash of the in-form teams at Field Mill on Tuesday afternoon as the impressive Mansfield take on a resurgent Crawley in what could be a season defining fixture. Despite being eight places below their opponents, Crawley are actually only six points below Mansfield and three points could take them closer to the top seven places in the division. After beating Crewe 3-0 the visitors will certainly be confident of doing so, but Mansfield are in fine form and another win could get them into the top three automatic spots. The hosts are the obvious favourites here at 1/2 with Bet365, whilst the visitors are a huge 7/1 with the same bookmaker and the draw is 33/10 with Unibet.

Recommended bet: Mansfield to win 3-1 @ 13/1 with BetVictor – BET HERE

MK Dons vs Morecambe

The top of the fourth-tier is extremely tight at the moment and evidence of that is MK Dons dropping into second after just one defeat, but this week Dons will be hoping to put that right against 19th place Morecambe at Stadium MK. It’s actually Morecambe who are the in-form side here after four matches undefeated and another win away from home would be a huge statement to the rest of the division. Amazingly, the visitors are actually only ten points outside of the playoffs and three points in this one takes them potentially as high as 14th. However, Morecambe are still the big outsiders at 7/1 with Betway, whilst the draw could be an attractive bet at 4/1 with the same bookmaker. Despite losing last time out, Dons are still the big favourites at 3/7 with Unibet.

Recommended bet: Over 3.5 goals @ 17/10 with Betway – BET HERE

Newport County vs Northampton

The Newport Stadium is the host of Newport vs Northampton on Tuesday evening as two sides who failed to win last time out go in pursuit of a big three points in their seasons. Newport need a victory to avoid potentially dropping out of the playoffs, whilst Northampton need a win to avoid slipping into the lower end of the table and towards the dreaded drop zone. It’s actually Northampton who are in excellent form, having gone six matches unbeaten in League Two – but that has no reflection on their odds of 2/1 to win this one with Bet365. The draw here is 12/5 with Betfair and the home win is 15/11 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Match to be drawn 1-1 @ 5/1 with William Hill – BET HERE

Notts County vs Carlisle

Meadow Lane is the host of an important fourth-tier clash as Neal Ardley’s new Notts County side look to build on their recent draw against Morecambe and begin their resurgence under their new manager. Carlisle travel to the side in the bottom two knowing a win would take them towards the right end of the table, but a poor 2-1 loss to Forest Green – the side one place above them in the league – is something they’ll need to bounce back from here. Neither side are the real standout favourites, with the visitors 18/11 with Unibet and the hosts at 17/10 with Betway – and the draw is a bet we like here at 12/5 with Bet Victor.

Recommended bet: Carlisle to score two goals @ 11/8 with SkyBet – BET HERE

Oldham vs Lincoln

Boundary Park welcomes table toppers Lincoln this week as Oldham look to build on their three-game unbeaten streak to defy the odds against the impressive visitors. Lincoln returned back to the top of the table after their rivals MK Dons lost their important match and with a game in hand, they’ll be hoping to secure their spot at the top with another win to reach the 40 points mark. The sides actually last met back in 2016 in an FA Cup match which ended 3-2 to Lincoln and it is the visitors who are the 15/8 favourites with Bet365, whilst the draw is 23/10 with the same bookmaker. The home win is unlikely and that is representative in their odds of 17/10 with Unibet to win this one.

Recommended bet: Lincoln double chance @ 4/9 with Unibet – BET HERE

Swindon vs Stevenage

The County Ground is the host of a clash between Swindon and Stevenage this week as 14th plays eighth in the table. Both sides won last weekend, with this week’s hosts grinding out a 1-0 win away to Port Vale, whilst Stevenage made it three wins in four with an outstanding 3-2 win against title hopefuls MK Dons on home soil. The hosts are 5/4 favourites to win this one, whilst the visitors are surprising 9/4 outsiders – both with Unibet and the draw here is 12/5 with William Hill.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score @ 5/6 with Bet365 – BET HERE

Yeovil vs Port Vale

Struggling Yeovil return to Huish Park to play Port Vale this Tuesday as 18th plays 17th in an important match. Both sides are coming into this one off the back of back-to-back losses and another here could be disastrous – pulling either side closer to the dreaded bottom two in the division. The sides last met in January and the reverse tie ended 1-1 and that score-line here is a definite possibility after neither side have quite found their scoring boots, but neutral fans will be hoping for a good match if they are travelling to watch this important clash. The hosts are the slight 6/5 favourites with William Hill, whilst the away side are 23/10 to win with Betfair and the draw is 12/5 with Bet365.

Recommended bet: Under 2.5 goals @ 8/11 with Betfair – BET HERE
