Burnley vs Liverpool

The first game of Wednesday’s Premier League round-up sees Burnley faced with the difficult challenge of Liverpool at Turf Moor. The Clarets are enduring a nightmare campaign, having lost five of their last six games and are without a win in seven, losing 2-0 away to Crystal Palace last time out. Liverpool meanwhile will be on a high after beating Everton in the Merseyside derby on Sunday, doing so thanks to Divock Origi’s late winner deep into stoppage time. The Reds have now won three in a row in the league and are heavy favourites at 3/10 with BetVictor, with a Burnley win priced at 13/1 with Bet365.

Everton vs Newcastle

Two teams looking to bounce back from disappointing losses at the weekend square off when Everton face Newcastle United. The Toffees made it 20 years without victory at Anfield on Sunday, losing in bizarre fashion when Jordan Pickford’s blunder allowed Divock Origi to secure Liverpool a 1-0 victory. As for Newcastle, they saw their three-match winning run brought to an end at the hands of West Ham on Saturday, losing 3-0 at home in what was a disappointing performance. Everton are favourites here at 6/10 with Betfair, while Newcastle are priced at 6/1 with BetVictor.

Fulham vs Leicester City

It’s set to be an emotional evening for Claudio Ranieri on Wednesday night, as he takes on Leicester City for the first time since being sacked by the club. He and his Fulham side will be looking to bounce back from their defeat at Chelsea on Sunday, but do the have the chance to make it back-to-back home wins after beating Southampton at Craven Cottage. Meanwhile, Leicester made it six games unbeaten in all competitions during their 2-0 defeat of Watford thanks to goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison. Leicester are favoured here at 6/4 with Betfair, while Fulham are currently priced at 2/1 with Betway.

Wolves vs Chelsea

Finally, struggling Wolves will look to turn their poor run of form around during the visit of Chelsea on Wednesday night. Wolves were on the receiving end of a 2-1 defeat away to fellow newly-promoted side Cardiff City last Friday, surrendering a one-goal lead in doing so and have now taken just a point from their last six games. Chelsea bounced back from their defeat against Tottenham with a 2-0 victory over London rivals Fulham at Stamford Bridge at the weekend, although Maurizio Sarri will be looking to improve their run of just four wins in nine in the Premier League. As expected, Wolves are the underdogs here at 4/1 with Betfred, with Chelsea the odds-on favourites at 4/5 with Bet365.
