Robbie Keane is still scoring and doing THAT celebration… In India!

Irish striker Robbie Keane scored some great goals in the Premier League over the years, but last night he scored his first goal in the India Premier League! The former Spurs, Liverpool and Leeds forward was a fans’ favourite at his British clubs, and usually followed up his goals with his trademark cart-wheel celebration.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen him score or do his unique celebration, since he left LA Galaxy in the simmer.  He wasted no time in bringing out the cartwheel when he scored for his new club Atlético de Kolkata last night. ATK are managed by another former Premier League striker, Teddy Sherringham.

Keane, now 37, retired from international duty with the Republic of Ireland last August. He scored 68 goals for his country over 18-year international career, he is their all-time record scorer. He is also the most capped Irish player of all time, wracking up 146 appearances.

We hope there’s a few more goals and cartwheels left yet Robbie! Watch the goal from last night below:
