Jake Paul proved many doubters wrong when he managed to beat Tyron Woodley back in August via a split decision win in what was the former UFC champion's pro debut and Paul's fourth bout. Now, following Tommy Fury's injury, Woodley now gets another shot at beating the famous YouTuber when it seemed like that chapter was closed.
In the first fight, Paul did win it relatively convincingly in our eyes. The split decision didn't really make much sense as Paul won every round to us, landed more shots and ultimately, kept Woodley quiet throughout the entire fight. The ex-MMA start more or less kept himself quiet in one way, however, with the fact he's all but forgot how to throw a punch at this stage as in his last four UFC fights and his fight with Paul, he never pulled the trigger of that devastating right hand. Eventually, the first bout was scored 75-77, 77-75 and 78-74, and it's the latter one we agree with most.
The Jake Paul Tyron Woodley odds for the first fight saw Paul go into the fight at EVENS in some places, with Woodley the underdog. Now, following a comfortable points win, Paul is 1/3 to win the fight for the second time. The rematch will be contested over eight rounds at a limit of 192 lbs under the cruiserweight division.
