Inexperienced punter lands over £13,000 from horse racing bet

Estimated 1081/1 acca won by novice horse racing bettor

As we always focus so heavily on bookmaker odds and how they’ve been correctly or incorrectly assigned by the bookies, we’re happy to pay credit to anyone who’s been able to find value, especially when it’s been to a substantial extent.

One punter certainly pulled off a big win this week, where a massively inexperienced bettor managed to come away with £13,304.92 from a mere £10 bet. He placed it on an each-way accumulator, leaving a lot of friends and coworkers to question his thinking behind the bet, but putting those same people into a state of shock when it landed.

Six Warwick Racecourse winners in one day

Despite going nameless on social media, a friend of the bet winner posted his betslip online, where we were able to see an insight into the person who placed the bet, adding further hype to how he carried out the win.

The person who posted out the betslip said that his work colleague doesn’t know much about betting and only placed his first bet during the 2019 Cheltenham Festival last month. Fancying his chances over a random day of racing, the punter created an each-way accumulator on races held at Warwick Racecourse, staking £10 in total.

Spanning between 2:10 and 4:50 on Wednesday afternoon, all six horses won, returning an estimated £5,414.17 at first, before William Hill added an additional £7,890.65 through their best odds guarantee feature.

All of Bubbles Of Gold, Elusive Belle, Djin Conti, Little Millie, Fifty Shades and Bbold won to land the week’s most incredible horse racing winner. Each race took place one after another, blowing the minds of everyone that witnessed the winning slip on social media, as it saw the bettor predicting every single winner from Warwick in succession.

Managing to place a couple of the horses in his bet would have surely been enough to see some impressive returns but the fact that this novice punter won every single race he bet on presented true skill, even if he picked his horses practically at random.

It’s expected that this newcomer to betting will continue placing bets on horses after their sensational win.

Although this bet is easily the best horse racing winner we’ve seen this week, it falls short of our favourite bet from the entire week. One bettor cashed out a whopping £19,620.04 on their outright football accumulator after backing Manchester City to win the Premier League, Norwich City to win the Championship, Luton Town to win League One, and Lincoln City to win League Two.
