Chelsea 2-4 Bradford City - 2015

It is one of the biggest upsets of recent years when League One Bradford City produced a thrilling comeback on what were the Premier League champions to be. It looked to be a routine win for Chelsea early on as they had a 2-0 lead in the 40th minute, but it was all downhill from there for the Blues in what is to this day, arguably Chelsea's worst defeat of the 21st century in the FA Cup.

Bradford started their comeback just before half-time when Jon Stead halved Chelsea’s lead going into the break. Jose Mourinho's men kept their lead for most of the second half, but a late onslaught by the visitors produced the upset, as an equaliser in the 75th minute and goal in the 82nd minute put Bradford ahead.

They then went on again to score in the 94th minute to cap off an all-time classic game in the FA Cup. Mourinho barely ever lost at Stamford Bridge, and losing to a League One side who hadn't been past this round in 18 years is even crazier.

AFC Wimbledon 4-2 West Ham United - 2019

In a clash between two London clubs in the fourth round in 2019, West Ham United were heavily favoured to advance but crashed out in spectacular style by League One AFC Wimbledon. Wimbledon were 2-0 up going into half-time with goals from Kwesi Appiah and Scott Wagstaff to raise the roof at Kingsmeadow.

The second half started where the first half left off, with Wagstaff grabbing his second of the game to put the League One side 3-0 up. However, hearts were in mouths for the home crowd for the rest of the half, as West Ham pulled two goals back and looked on course to grab another, but an 88th-minute goal for Wimbledon squashed their comeback efforts to ensure the upset over Premier League opposition.

A magical day for a club that has a very famous history in this competition.

    Tottenham 4-3 Wycombe Wanderers - 2017

At half-time, it looked like it was going to be another FA Cup upset with League Two side Wycombe Wanderers taking a 2-0 lead into the break at White Hart Lane with two goals from Paul Hayes.

Two quickfire goals in the 60th and 64th minute levelled the game back up again for Spurs, but the upset still looked likely when Wycombe took the lead again in the 83rd minute through Garry Thompson and the fans couldn't believe what they were watching.

Spurs, however, left it late to spoiled the party for the Wycombe faithful, as a goal to level the score in the 89th minute from Dele Alli came before a dramatic winner in the 97th minute from Son Heung-min secured Spurs’ place in the next round.

It was an incredible game, and one which the Premier League side squeezed through.

    York City 1-0 Arsenal - 1985

First Division Arsenal travelled to Third Division York City back in 1985 with expectation that they were going to advance into the next round, but York had other plans. The weather was a struggle for both sides with snow and ice having to be cleared off the pitch just before kick off, and back in them days, it certainly favoured the teams further down the pyramid with what they trained on each day.

It looked as if the game was going to end as a draw with neither side able to take the lead, but in the 90th minute, York City were given a penalty and Keith Houchen converted it to complete the upset. It remains one of the biggest upsets based off the league pyramid in fourth round history.

    Tottenham Hotspur 3-4 Manchester City - 2004

After a 1-1 draw, Spurs and Manchester City went to a replay to decide who moved to the next round and at half time, people would’ve bet their houses on Spurs going through. They took a comfortable 3-0 lead with goals from Ledley King, Robbie Keane, and Chrisitan Ziege, and to what looked to compile the misery for the ravelling City fans, Joey Barton was sent off at the end of the first half. It was a near impossible comeback.

City made a resurgence throughout the second half, scoring after just three minutes through Sylvain Distin, then goals from Paul Bosvelt and Shaun Wright-Phillips took them level with extra time looming. However, in the 90th minute, Michael Tarnat scored to complete the improbable comeback and send City through to the next round in what, when all is considered, is probably the best comeback we've ever seen in the fourth round.
