Real Betis vs Barcelona: Memphis Depay to Score Anytime: 13/8

The battle for the Champions League places continues in La Liga as fifth-place Real Betis hosts second-placed Barcelona in Seville.

Ever since Barcelona’s shock exit from the Europa League, Barca have been stumbling towards the end of the season. Two defeats in four league games have left Xavi’s side not assured of a Champions League place for next year. A win against Betis here is vital to stop the nerves creeping in.

Memphis Depay will have to produce like he did last time, as Barca sealed a narrow 2-1 win against Mallorca with the Dutchman scoring the opener to take this season’s tally up to 12 for the season.

Real Betis know that they will be able to cause problems for Barcelona, having defeated the Catalan side 1-0 when they visited the Nou Camp in December. Having just secured the Copa Del Ray as well, confidence will be high as they look to close the gap on the Champions League places.

This will be a very close encounter, but the Dutchman Depay will have his name on the scoresheet at some point.

Bayern Munich vs Stuttgart: Robert Lewandowski to Score 2+ Goals - 2/1

It’s a massive game for relegation-threatened Stuttgart on Sunday, as they face the daunting task of facing champions Bayern Munich.

Bayern sewed up their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title two weeks ago as they defeated closest rivals Borussia Dortmund 3-1. This was followed by a lacklustre away defeat at midtable Mainz however, with the reliable Robert Lewandowski’s goal just being a consolation in a 3-1 loss. This was the Pole’s 34th league goal in just 32 league games.

Stuttgart are facing a real uphill battle if they are to avoid the lottery of their relegation play-off in the Bundesliga. An 89th-minute equaliser last time out secured what could be a vital point against Wolfsburg, but Die Roten knows they will have to go for it at the Allianz Arena to try and close the gap to 15th place Hertha Berlin. A 5-0 loss to Bayern earlier this season however shows this will be a mighty task.

Lewandowski and co will likely be too strong for a poor Stuttgart side; the start striker will bag at least two goals on Sunday.

Hellas Verona vs AC Milan: Rafael Leao to Score First - 5/1

AC Milan’s search for a first Scudetto in 11 years continues on Sunday, but ninth-placed Hellas Verona will prove a tricky test for the Rossoneri.

Milan have been getting a lot of luck when it comes to goalkeeping mistakes recently. First Inter’s second choice goalkeeper gifted Bologna a win in inter’s game in hand against their bitter rivals was followed by Fiorentina gifting Milan a late winner last time out. Rafael Leao was the player to capitalise, with his winner being his 10th of the season and second in his last three games.

Verona have had an excellent season in Serie A, with 52 points being their highest points tally since the 2013/14 season. A European spot is not out of the question for Hellas, and they know they can challenge Milan all the way this weekend, having narrowly lost 3-2 at San Siro earlier this season, a game they were leading 3-2.

This game will be very tight, but Portuguese international Leao could provide all the difference Milan needs.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Troyes: Kylian Mbappe to Score 2+ Goals - 11/4

PSG will look to get back to winning ways in Ligue 1 on Sunday night, as relegation-threatened Troyes visit the Parc Des Princes.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were in cruise control it seemed last time out, leading 3-1 away to Strasbourg in part to two goals from Kylian Mbappe, taking his league total to 24 for the season. The Frenchman however couldn’t stop the comeback from happening, as PSG threw away the lead to draw 3-3, the second draw in a row for the newly crowned French champions.

Promoted Troyes got an impressive result last time out as they defeated last year’s Ligue 1 champions, Lille, 3-0. Their first win in four games moved the northern French side five points clear of the relegation play-off, as they look to buck the trend and not make it four continuous relegations after a promotion to the French top flight.

PSG will most likely outgun their opponents and do the double over Troyes, with an Mbappe brace on the cards.
