The first leg saw Oxford pick up a win, but a 1 - 0 win is not too high a mountain to climb for Peterborough who could make the comeback to secure a spot at Wembley.

Bosun Lawal opened the scoring for Fleetwood in the first minute but Malik Mothersille equalised before the halftime whistle. Archie Finn Collins put Peterborough ahead with ten minutes to go and Jonson Clarke-Harris grabbed two goals in extra time to give Peterborough the 4 - 1 win.

The trip to the Memorial Stadium saw The Posh take the lead right on the halftime whistle through Joel Randall. The second half was quiet, but Ricky-Jade Jones popped up with a goal in the fifth minute of extra time to secure the 2 - 0 win for Peterborough over Bristol Rovers.

However, the next time out for Peterborough saw them on the other side of the 2 - 0 scoreline against Cheltenham. Joe Nuttall and Matt Taylor both scored in the first half. The first leg of the Play-off Semi Finals saw Oxford host Peterborough. Elliot Moore scored the only goal of the game early in the second half to give Oxford the 1 - 0 win over The Posh.
