As only a matter of weeks remain until the global release of Avengers: Endgame, Betway are preparing for the cinematic spectacle by offering special markets covering the performance of the film at the US Box Office.
Regular visitors to the novelty section of the Oddschanger website will be aware that we took an early look at the odds from Betway surrounding this year's highest grossing film. This forecast included all of the biggest films of 2019, with Avengers: Endgame standing as clear favourite at odds of 11/8.
Since the box office preview was published at the start of February, Avengers: Endgame has kept the same price without moving from the position of being favourite to take in the most money at theatres this year. Betway are now focusing even closer on how Avengers: Endgame could perform at the cinema, including an option to decide whether it could even become the highest grossing movie of all time.
Endgame looking to beat Infinity War
Taking close to $2 billion at the US box office last year, Avengers: Infinity War was able to reach fourth in the list for highest grossing movie of all time.
This statistic makes it the highest grossing film of 2018 at the US Box Office, finishing ahead of fellow-Marvel film Black Panther, which took $1.35 billion, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which took $1.31 billion, Incredibles 2, which took $1.24 billion, and surprisingly successful DC film Aquaman, which took $1.12 billion.
After the top five, there's a massive gap between fifth and sixth, as the $1.12 billion for Aquaman is trailed by $855 million brought in by Venom.
Of all three Avengers: Endgame Specials, the most likely to become a reality this year is how the film could take more money in the first week than Avengers: Infinity War, priced at 2/5.
In opposite style to predicting that Avengers: Endgame will take in more money at the US Box Office than Avengers: Infinity War, you can also choose the alternative option, where the film to take less money in the opening week than Infinity War is priced at 7/4 on Betway.
Highest grossing movie of all time odds
It's one thing to be the highest grossing film of the year, but managing to become the highest grossing film of all time takes an incredible effort, especially as it would mean reaching more than $2.79 billion to trump 2009 James Cameron epic Avatar.
The market surrounding the all-time highest grossing movie is only based on current standards, with it being more difficult if they chose to count the list provided by the International Monetary Fund which took inflation into account, where Gone with the Wind was estimated as making $3.7 billion by today's standards.
Although it would take a lot for Avengers: Endgame to beat Avatar in the runnings of the highest grossing movie of all time, Betway only provide a price of 9/2 for it to do exactly that after its release in April.
Last year's offering from the Marvel Cinematic Universe saw a film capable of firing straight into fourth regarding the all-time rankings, but it remains to be seen whether what's expected to be the final Marvel Avengers film will take a further $740 million in ticket sales than the prequel.
