Summer is approaching. The football season is now over, but for this Saturday's hugely anticipated Champions League final between Tottenham and Liverpool in Madrid, which means one thing: Love Island.
The extremely popular reality TV program - which sees a host of young, attractive singletons all pile into a magnificent villa in Mallorca, Spain - will return for its fifth season on 3 June and the public are going wild for it.
Caroline Flack will once again host the show, aired on ITV2 from Sunday-Friday, alongside Scottish comedian Iain Stirling who will also narrate each episode.
So far, 12 'sexy singletons' have been confirmed for Series 5 - seven boys and five girls - with each of them introduced on Twitter earlier this week. As predicted, they all seem insufferable, but as the series goes on it's almost a certainty that we'll begin to warm to a few of them.
The most high-profile name heading into the villa this summer is undoubtedly Tommy Fury - brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson. The 20-year-old, who himself is a professional boxer, will be hoping to win over the public whilst also finding love during the next two months, with many people excited to see how the Manchester-based fighter takes to life on the big screen.
Fury (who we still cannot believe is 20, considering he is built like the Hulk), is currently priced at odds of 9/2 to finish this series of Love Island as 'Top Male' - boosted from 7/2 with SkyBet. Catering company owner Joe Garrett, who has been dubbed the 2019 version of Eyal with his curly barnet, is currently second-favourite to finish as Top Male, priced at odds of 4/1.
Chef and semi-professional rugby player Sherif Lanre is currently highest priced at odds of 10/1, while aircraft engineer Callum Macleod is slightly shorter at odds of 8/1 (SkyBet).
For the girls, there is a clear favourite in blonde bombshell and professional surfer Lucie Donlan, priced as short as 2/1 to go the distance this summer. Beauty therapist Amber Gill, from Newcastle, is current second-favourite to finish as 'Top Female' at odds of 7/2.
You have to feel for Yewanda Biela, though, who is the long-shot choice at 8/1 - not sure what she's done considering the show hasn't begun yet, but it'll be interesting to see whether or not her odds drift a few weeks into the knockout-style competition.
Though it is extremely early days, odds on the winning couple suggest that Tommy Fury and Lucie Donlan will be victorious in July, priced at odds of 14/1. With several new arrivals set to join the original cast as the weeks go on, be sure to see the odds change rapidly throughout the next six-eight weeks. With little football to report on, we'll be sure to keep you updated.
