Regé-Jean Page, who was born on the 27th of April 1988, is an English actor. His breakout role came in season one of the Netflix period drama Bridgerton (2020), for which he won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series and was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
In February 2021, Page was recognised in Time magazine's 100 Next lists under the category of Phenoms with a profile written by Shonda Rhimes. He has also appeared in the series 10 of Waterloo Road (2015), the miniseries Roots (2016), and the short-lived ABC legal drama For the People (2018–2019) as well as an appearance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
