Any music fans will be fully aware of the volatile relationship between Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher, and how it led to the downfall of one of Britain's greatest ever bands. There were issues between the pair even when things were going well for Oasis back in 1994, with one disagreement leading to the inception of hit single Talk Tonight.
Between Liam hitting Noel with a cricket bat and Liam throwing a tambourine at Noel, more controversies appeared, and matters only worsened when they each began to rule out appearing in specific television programmes and at chosen performances. By 2009, Oasis officially split after both brothers continually slated each other to the press, with Noel seeing Liam as an overhyped fool, and Liam often perceiving Noel as being a prima donna that was ruined by the fame.
The most recent disagreement they had came from Liam Gallagher's documentary film 'As It Was', where Noel refused to allow Liam to use Oasis songs in the film. He explained: "If some f*cking moron is going to make a film slagging me off, calling my wife a c*nt, after trolling my kids on the internet, after being a filthy little misogynist sexist pr*ck who cannot keep his f*cking mouth off Twitter, and then call me to ask me a favour, I'm like 'Wow. you are as dumb as you f*cking look!"
An expectedly heated response from Liam matched the opening statement from Noel, but it's still intriguing to consider whether the two would ever wipe the slate clean. Many long standing fans of Oasis are eagerly awaiting the day where the two might reform the band, and Betway are now pricing up the chances of this being a reality, where you can bet on exactly when it could happen, including the option to disregard it ever happening at all.
Dates provided on when an Oasis reunion could occur
Recent squabbles between the two Mancunian brothers have made the least likely time for an Oasis reunion being any time soon, pricing 2019 up at 100/1. The second largest price is handed to next year being when the two put their differences aside to reform Oasis, with Betway offering 25/1 odds. A lot can change in the space of a few months, and as much as it's hard to see any change happening before the end of the year, odds as large as 25/1 for 2020 are tempting to say the least.
Looking to another year ahead, any chance of a reunion in 2021 is priced at 16/1, and the following year is given odds of 12/1. It says a lot about the absolutely tiny possibility that Oasis will reform any time soon that Betway offer a price as short as 1/25 for Liam and Noel to not work together as Oasis by the start of 2023. The larger prices are almost certain to change before the market is closed by the bookmaker, but based on the seemingly certain feeling that they wont work together in the near future, the 1/25 price could only move shorter.
