As the Christmas season draws ever closer, one man has enjoyed a resurrection of his own, with Christian Benteke hoping to continue delivering the goods for an indifferent Crystal Palace side. Two goals in last weekends’ 3-3 draw away to Burnley was the first time in just under a year Benteke has netted a Premier League brace, taking his tally to four for the season.
Having seemingly been given the nod as Palace’s number-one centre-forward by Patrick Viera, Benteke could provide a cheap option for managers in search of points up the pitch.
